5.11.4.1 Installation procedure of Ceiling frame for Long rail

● Parts for ceiling suspended tube stand will be offered below.

Long Rail covers Holding brackets

Lower rails (Short rails)

Long rails

● The bracket is connected between long rails and ceiling supporter. Ceiling supporter must be
strong enough to hold entire Long rail, short rail and tube stand which is usually over 200kg.
Mostly, ceiling support hangs from the main building structures some of which are main steel
beam on the building, thick concrete, and so on. The static position and hardness is very
important!! (see photo below)

NOTE ▶
ECORAY does not provide this ceiling supporter like u-pin profiler !!!

● Check each location like this drawing.

● 2 Holding Brackets should be slid into the Long Rail first and pins of holding brackets are
inserted into holes of ceiling supporter. Presicely measure the distance of bracket pins before
installation of ceiling supporter like U Pin Profiler.

Holding brackets are connected with long rails.

Measure the length of each pin’s distance

101

HF 525Plus Installation, Operation and Service Manual

● Typically, U shape of steel beam (U Pin Profiler) is used as ceiling supporter, and L/Right side of
U shape of steel beam will be united with weight bearing structure on the ceiling. Before
installation of U Pin Profiler, an installer has to make 6 holes on the U Pin Profiler, which are
going to match with the pins from Holding Bracket. If Left side of U Pin Profiler will be
connected with the ceiling, the holes should be made on Right side of U Pin Profiler.

Cf 1) Hole distances of ceiling supporter in case Long rail is 4,000mm

750 mm 300 mm

4000 mm

Cf 2) Hole distances of ceiling supporter in case Long rail is 3,500mm

Important to match the distance between brackets’ pins with the distance between holes from
ceiling supporter like u-pin profiler !!!

● Moreover, it is also very fundamental to have right distance between two U Pin Profilers because
Long Rails covers that are connected with each Long Rails after. If the distance between each U
Pin Profiler is wrong, an installer will meet the problem with installation of Long Rail cover after
installation of two Long Rails. Generally, the distance between each U Pin Profilers is 198 cm.

P is the maximum rated output (W) of the

transmitter according to its manufacturer, and d
is the recommended separation distance (m).
The field intensitya from fixed RF transmitter that
is detected by measuring electromagnetic waves
should be lower than the compliance standard in
each frequency range b.
There may be interference near equipment with
the mark below.

Note 1: A higher frequency range is applied from 80 MHz and 800 MHz.
Note 2: This guideline does not apply to all situations since electromagnetic waves are affected by the
absorption and reflection of buildings, objects, and people.
a The field intensity from fixed transmitters, such as radio (portable, wireless), telephone, base radio
station on ground, amateur radio, AM and FM radio broadcast and TV broadcast, cannot theoretically be
forecasted accurately. Electromagnetic locations should be measured to evaluate the electromagnetic
environment produced by fixed RF transmitters. If the intensity of the field measured at the location of
HF-525 PLUS exceeds the permissible RF level, HF-525 PLUS must be checked for normal operation. If HF-
525 PLUS exhibits abnormal performance, additional action, such as relocating or redirecting the
equipment, is required.
b The field intensity for frequency of 150 kHz - 80 MHz should be less than 3 V/m.

Recommended separation distance between

portable and mobile RF communication device and X1 & T1

HF-525 PLUS is manufactured to be used in an electromagnetic environment where radioactive RF is

controlled. Customers and users of HF-525 PLUS may prevent electromagnetic wave interference by
maintaining the minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communication devices (transmitters)
and the HF-525 PLUS as recommended below by the maximum output of communication devices.
