1. What is the role played by fiestas/festivals in preserving our cultural practices
and symbols? (Use 5 sentences only).
The role they play is that they are there to show us the culture we do in the past until
now. Like for me when im in the Marinduque there was a festival there called moriones
festival. It is to show us a reenactment of the suffering of christ on his way to the
cavalry. So it is to show as past to remember the past the make us better. So this
contribute to the preservation of intangible cultural assets such as living cultural
knowledge, identity, meaning, and core values.
