Dr K W Christopher is Associate Professor, Dept of English, University College of Arts and


Social Sciences, Osmania University.

Before joining Osmania University, he was Principal of University College, Mahatma Gandhi
University, Nalgonda.

Dr Christopher also taught at Misrata University, Libya in 2006-7.

His publications include a book titled Rethinking Cultural Studies, Rawat Books (2005)

and articles in reputed international journals such as:

Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies (Routledge UK)

Journal of Commonwealth Literature (SAGE, UK).

and national journals like Indian Literature (Sahitya Akademi,Delhi)

He is also a reviewer for Journal of Commonwealth Literature (SAGE, UK)

Dr Christopher’s research interests include, Cultural Studies, Literature and Music, Film, Dalit
Studies, African American Studies, Colonialism-postcolonialism, translation with a focus on
Dalit and Christian contexts.
