    PROJECT WRITE- UP

    Project title : : USING NODE.JS EXPRESS FRAMEWORK AND MONGO-DB TO BUILD REST APIs
    FOR A WEB APPLICATION

    Short Description : The project involved handling the whole backend server side coding for
    the SaaS management dashboard web application, including ideating the database
    collections and their schemas, then making them and using them to write usable APIs for
    various end points as per company requirements.

    Work Done: a brief summary of the work completed during PS 2:

    1)Database Modelling:
    • creating a framework of inter related models and Schemas (formats) for each of
    them
    • So a total of 22 models were created and incorporated inside the API calls
    2)API calls:
    • A total of 120+ APIs were completed during the project duration.
    3)Campus Recruitments:
    • recruitment test was created and interviews of 7 shortlisted candidates were taken
    by me.
    4)Launch of version α:
    • the first working version of the web app was completed in December, which will be
    used by 38 β customers, and generate revenue and customer base for the company.

    Future Prospects : As I was working on the main product of the company, It will be used to
    generate revenue and provide service to customers word-wide, mainly in Australia,
    Singapore and Easter European countries, later on in USA and India.
    It is expected to be scaled up by a very large factor in the next version, work on which is
    currently going on.
