    PATTERN
     

    Lyric in Ivory Macramé Hint:  Hang  the  ring  from  a  pull  on  a  
    cupboard,  a  doorknob,  a  hook  on  a  door

    pot  approx.  4”  –  5”  across  and  deep  and  
    bottom  pot  approx..  5”  to  8”  across  and  
    deep)  and  plants  when  the  project  is  
    complete.  
     
    INSTRUCTIONS

    1.  Cut  six  cords  measuring  14  feet  each.  


    Cut  two  3’  wrapping  cords.  
     
    2.  Fold  each  14  ft.  cord  in  half  and  place  
    thru  the  brass  ring  so  all  ends  are  even.

      15.  Skip  down  3”.  Tie  all  cords  together  


    8.  Repeat  with  the  other  two  groups.   with  a  wrapping  knot  using  the  wrapping  
      cord.    
    9.  Skip  down  4”.  Take  a  filler  cord  and  a    
    knotting  cord  from  each  of  the  two   16.  Your  option  of  cutting  the  fringe  to  
    adjacent  knots  and  tie  one  square  knot   one  length,  unraveling  or  leaving  as  is.

    10.  Repeat  with  the  remaining  cords.    

     
    11.  Skip  down  2”.    Take  a  filler  cord  and  
    a  knotting  cord  from  each  of  the  two  
    adjacent  knots  and  tie  one  square  knot  
    having  four  cords  in  all.  (Alternating  
    Square  Knot  again)  
     
    12.  Tie  one  row  of  Alternating  Square  
    Knots  right  below  the  last  row.  
     
    Hint:  Put  your  pot  in  the  cradle  just  
    completed  in  the  above  step  and  see  if  it  
    sits  properly.  If  not  take  out  your  knots  
    and  start  again  from  step  9.  
     
    13.  Skip  down  2”  and  repeat  steps  5  to  8  
    starting  with  the  same  Knotters  and  
    Fillers  as  step  12.  
     
    14.  Skip  down  5”.  Take  a  filler  cord  and  a  
    knotting  cord  from  each  of  the  two  
    adjacent  knots  and  tie  one  square  knot  
    having  four  cords  in  all.  (Alternating  
    Square  Knot).
