MUSICAL EXPERIENCE
James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes.
August 2020- Present
● Performing member of the piccolo section.
● Have rehearsals 4-5 times a week and perform at football games, in
performances for friends and family, in parades, etc.
● Music section leader for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

James Madison University Concert Band


August 2021- Present
● Performing member of the flute/ piccolo section in a semi-professional
wind ensemble
● Has rehearsals 2 times a week and concerts/ recording sessions when
applicable.

James Madison University Symphonic Band


August 2020- May 2021
● Performing member of the flute/ piccolo section in a semi-professional
wind ensemble
● Has rehearsals 2 times a week and concerts/ recording sessions when
applicable.

Governor School for the Art’s Symphony Orchestra


September 2018- June 2020
● Performing member of the flute/ piccolo section in a semi-professional
symphony orchestra.
● Had rehearsals 2-3 times a week and concerts in December/January,
March, and May.

Western Branch High School Symphonic Band


September 2016- June 2020
● Performing member of the flute section and principal flute/ piccolo for
2 years in a high-school wind ensemble.
● Had rehearsals Monday- Thursday every week and performed
concerts in December and May, and had a state assessment in March.
Joan Edward’s Piano Studio
June 2011- June 2020
● An active member in the studio performing at yearly recitals, state
judging, fundraising events, church events, etc.
● 45- minute lesson once a week with performances every 2-3 months.

competitions, showcases, parades, etc.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
● Vice President of Sigma Alpha Iota, Gamma Iota Chapter, for the
2022-2023 academic year.
● Music Section Leader for the 2022 season of the Marching Royal
Dukes.
● Music Section Leader for the 2021 season of the Marching Royal
Dukes.
● Volunteer teacher at Through the Staff. Through the Staff is an
organization run by college musicians to provide lessons to
underprivileged children.
● College of Visual Performing Arts’ Student Ambassador as of March
2021. My job is to recruit students to the College and lead by example
to the values the College has.
● Worked as a student teacher with the Western Branch High School
Concert Band.
● Worked to help and guide the flute/ piccolo section of the Western
Branch High School Marching Band from August 2018 - January 2020.
● Volunteer teacher for children’s vacation bible school.
● Active and one of the leading members of volunteering for the Western
Branch High School Nation Honor Society.
● Leading member of the student recruitment team for the Western
Branch High School Band Program.
