INTERNSHIP DETAILS
The internship was done under Jobpick.in which is the frontend developer jobs board. The
platform is primarily made for only frontend developers. The primary stakeholders of the
websites are the employees looking for the job and recruiters looking for the candidates. The
time for the work was flexible. We were allowed to work at any time.
Various areas under which we work :
● SSR (server side rendering for the SEO purpose)

● Making filters by technologies or frameworks
● Generating social media previews for each jobs page.
● Making the website responsive for mobile as well as desktop devices
● Making the website loading speed faster
● Validating the inputs at the frontend
● Deploying the website on the Vercel platform
● Continuous Git integration
● Making website secure with SSL

ABSTRACT/INTRODUCTION
The internship is done under jobpick.in which is the frontend developer jobs board which
accepts only frontend jobs. The platform also has the filtering for the jobs according to the
technology or framework.
In this Internship, we have to develop one dynamic website using a newer Technology
tech stack like Next.js, Reactjs Tailwind CSS, And Javascript. This website's home page contains
a list of all jobs. The individual page contains details about each job such as logo, job
description, position, location, apply url, apply email, etc. The hire page contains a form for the
recruiter to upload useful information.
This internship helped us to explore new languages, Frameworks and libraries. We got a
chance to learn how to collaborate with a team, how the software development life cycle works
and how to deal with clients and how to fulfill their requirements.

OBJECTIVES
● To provide a platform to find jobs for frontend developers

● To provide a platform for job seekers to find the job according the their requirements
● To provide a platform for recruiters to find the candidate who will fit for the company
role.
● To provide the best user experience.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY
● Website can be useful for freshers as well as experienced candidates to find a job.
● Companies can find candidates suitable for the job profile.
● To cut down the barrier between candidates and recruiters.

CHALLENGES FACED AND STEPS TO OVERCOME THEM
1. The First challenge of this internship was to design a UI which is responsive for both
mobile and desktop devices. So displaying that data in smaller devices was very tough.
To overcome this, we explored lots of websites such as dribbble for getting some of the
UI elements and themes. After that we arranged a meeting with the client to understand
their requirements. These steps solved the first problem.
2. As the website pages are dynamic, the server side rendering method is used which
increases the loading time but is also good for search engine optimization.

RESULT
The website is also ranked no. 1 for the keyword Jobpick on Google. The website is submitted to
Google search console for crawling. The Google analytics setup is also done to measure the
important metric such as visitors count, engagement, location, etc.
CONCLUSION
Thus we have successfully deployed the website and we learn the new languages and
frameworks. Also we got to know how to collaborate with the team and how the software
development lifecycle works.
