Abstract
The business environment that is characterized by the dynamics of change has
had a significant impact in the development of scientific thinking in the field of
management from the beginning of the nineteenth century until today. In the
1950s, modern theories and management concepts were developed as a
response to the demands of a new business environment. That particular feature,
as well as the way in which its influence is accepted, enables them a potential
application and importance even in a modern business environment. But, on the
other hand, there are great differences between the environment in the world of
the 1950s, when modern management theory appear, and the world and the
environments that today are. Globalization, internationalization, virtual economy,
and smart cities are just some of the features that are changing the contemporary
environment and the world we live in, and which have a significant impact on the
need for change and adaptation of traditional theories in business and
management. The aim of the paper is to highlight the need for developing new
theories and management concepts according to the problems that management
and managers face today as the first as well as modern management theory has
not been developed in accordance with today's business and general
environment

a new modern business practice and
philosophy associated with buying and selling goods, services, information and
ideas via the Internet and other electronic means. A review of relevant literature
and published
research revealed that the definitions of Electronic Marketing vary according to
each researcher's point of view, background and specialization . The most
commonly used
definitions of E-Marketing, as well as the key issues related to it, will be discussed
in
detail in chapter two (section 2.2).
For the purpose of conducting this research, the Strauss and Frost (2001)
definition will be used to define E-Marketing. According to Strauss and Frost
(2001) E Marketing is defined as: “The use of electronic data and applications for
planning and
executing the conception, distribution and pricing of ideas, goods and services to
create
exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives” (Strauss and Frost,
2001,
p: 454). The main reasons for depending on this definition are: it takes into
consideration
the main elements of E-Marketing as well as all types of products; it illustrates the
main
objectives of E-marking which is mainly related to creating the exchanges that
satisfy
both the individuals and organizational needs; and it is the definition adopted by
the American E-Marketing Association (eMA).
Based on this definition, E-Marketing includes any use of electronic data or
electronic applications for conducting company marketing activities. As a result, E
Marketing includes Internet Marketing, E-Mail marketing, Intranet Marketing,
Extranet Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Tele Marketing, Electronic Data
Interchange (EDI)for
marketing activities, Customer relationship management (CRM) and more. But for
the purpose of conducting this research, and based on the results of reviewing the
relevant
literature, the most commonly used tools of E-Marketing are: Internet Marketing,
E-Mail marketing, Intranet Marketing, Extranet Marketing and Mobile Marketing

1.3 statement of the problem
A problem statement should be written in businesses and other organizations,
writing a problem statement is an important step in improvement projects. A
clearly defined and well-understood problem is crucial to finding and
implementing effective business solutions. In this case, the problem statement is
usually a stand-alone document.
Writing a problem statement should help in careful decision-making for the
existence of your business, the reasons for its operating. The problem statement
will serve as the basis for the introductory section, directing the reader’s attention
to the issues that your proposed business plan will address. A problem statement
is a communication tool.

Problem statements are important to businesses, individuals and other entities to

develop projects focused on improvement. Whether the problem is pertaining to
badly-needed road work or the logistics for an island construction project; a clear,
concise problem statement is typically used by a project’s team to help define and
understand the problem and develop possible solutions.
These statements also provide important information that is crucial in decision-
making in relation to these projects or processes. A problem statement can be
identified by noticing the following measure in all problem statement examples:

It should neither be a statement of the Vision and Mission of the company nor

any philosophy.

1.6 objectives
Business objectives are the specific and measurable results companies hope to
maintain as their organization grows. Entrepreneurs and business leaders must
track performance in every part of their business to make sure they’re moving in
the right direction.
Business objectives act as a compass for the company, dictating how the
organization should allocate strengths, weaknesses and opportunities that may be
available. Most of the time, objectives remain the same until the company’s
circumstances change.

Examples of a Business Objective

While business goals describe where the company wants to end up, objectives
dictate the directions for getting there. Businesses that don’t identify long-term
goals and KPIs don’t develop as quickly as their competitors.
Examples of popular business objectives include:

Revenue objectives: Maintaining consistent profitability is essential for any

business. Companies cannot be profitable without consistent profit. Measuring
revenue is a great way to track the sustainability of a firm.

Operational objectives: Operational objectives include making sure that the

logistical elements of your business are up to scratch. For instance, it might mean
ensuring your supplies will arrive from a manufacturer at the same time each
month. These objectives keep the company running smoothly.

Productivity and performance: Employees are the lifeblood of a business. Making

sure that employees remain productive drives revenue and improves customer
satisfaction. Measuring employee satisfaction and setting goals for each team
ensures efficiency and productivity.
Customer satisfaction: The customer is always a top priority in any business. Some
organizations regularly survey their clients to ensure that they’re making the right
impression and driving loyalty.
Growth: Companies measure growth over the long-term and short-term. Growth
appears in the form of website traffic, social media followers, turnover and product
sales and much more.
Major objectives
Business means busy in some activities. Business means conducting
activities such as – sale, purchase and manufacturing etc for profit and
growth. Business is also referred to a particular company, enterprise
or corporation.
Specific objectives
business objectives are the specific,
measurable results that company hope to maintain as their organization
grows.
When you create a set of business objectives, you focus on specifics.
This means analyzing, assessing, and understanding where you are now and where
you want to be in the future.
