Do not drop metallic parts through slots. This could permanently damage the appliance.
Turn the power off immediately and contact qualified service personnel for service.

take immediate action if the appliance becomes wet. Turn the power off and refer servicing
to qualified service personnel. Moisture may damage the appliance and also cause electric
shock.
Do not use strong or abrasive detergents when cleaning the appliance body. Use a dry cloth
to clean the appliance when it is dirty. When the dirt is hard to remove, use a mild
detergent and wipe gently.
Do not overload outlets and extension cords as this may result in a risk of fire or electric
shock.

1 Product Overview
The EDA450 is a 1U 4 bay solution that supports SATA (Serial ATA) interfaces. This system
includes four 3.5” hard drive bays for Hard Drive drives, and supports SATA 6 Gb/s, with up to
6TB per hard drive. Designed to provide top performance, each individual hard drive is
connected to DVR using the eSATA channel for SATA devices. With this design, the EDA450 is
the ideal storage solution for applications requiring high data throughput, availability, and
flexibility in configuration.

Screw the HDD to SATA bay as indicated by the arrows in the above figure.
Note:
1. EDA450 does not support DVR with hot-swappable model.
2. When installing the EDA450, power on the EDA450 before plug-in eSATA cable that
connects to DVR.
