    Description

    Surfant L62 is a non-ionic block copolymer surface active agent based on copolymer of ethylene
    oxide and propylene oxide. It is characterised by low foam and low order of toxicity.

    Application

    Recommended as a low foam surface active agent, and antifoam for use as a component in
    formulations as a dispersant, defoamer, and rinse aid, for use in cleaning and detergent, lubricant,
    agrochemical, textile, paper, wastewater treatment, food processing and coating industries.

    Surfant L62 complies with FDA regulations CFR 21 173.340, 175.105, 176.210 and EU 10/2011
    relating to components of food contact materials, and is an excellent antifoam agent at
    temperatures above 25oC for reducing foams stabilised by natural surfactants, starches and
    proteins, usually encountered in processing food ingredients, waste water treatment and
    fermentation processes.
