    Payments under the NEC4 Engineering and

    Construction Contract in England and Wales


    The Contractor should ALWAYS submit an application for payment on or before the “assessment date”.
    If the Project Manager does not give a payment notice, the Contractor's application will be the payment notice. The application must state
    the amount that the Contractor considers will become due on the due date, and the basis on which that sum is calculated.
