Project 1: Recycled Materials Synthesis

This project requires putting together a synthesis document through a thorough literature review of a sustainable
material or method. It is recommended that you review examples of a synthesis. Examples can be found here.

The synthesis should tell the story of your material process. Example options for telling this story are what is the genesis
of this process or technology, how has it changed with time, what is the current state of the practice, what is the current
level of implementation, what are the benefits and drawbacks, etc. When writing, make sure to discuss how your
chosen topic addresses the three pillars of sustainability: People, Profit, and Planet.
