5.1 Plan Scope Management

Purpose
– Develop a plan for how you will plan, manage and
control the scope and requirements of the project
– Determine requirements
• All requirements must support project business case
– Sort and balance stakeholder needs
– Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Decomposition into smaller – manageable pieces
• Define each in the WBS dictionary
