CLINICAL COORDINATOR GRAND CASE PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
THEME: “Designing the New Normal: Enable, Engage, Elevate and Extend Student Learning"
A virtual Grand Case Presentation of CUP-CONM 2021 -2022
2nd Semester GENERAL GUIDELINES:
The grand case presentation (GCP) shall cover
-NCM 122 - Intensive Nursing Practicum – Hospital and Community setting - NCM 116 - Care of Clients with Problems in Nutrition, Gastro-Intestinal, Metabolism and Endocrine, Perception, and Coordination (Acute, Chronic) -NCM 109 - Care of Mother and child at Risk or with problems (Acute, Chronic) The case to be presented should be obtained from the handled cases in any rotation within the semester All members of the group should participate and be well versed in the case and expect that they will be asked randomly during the presentation. An evaluation tool will be used to rate the group. GCP grade will be BSN -4 20% of final RLE grade BSN - 3 & 2 Additional point/s will be added to the final RLE grade based on the following GCP grade: 96 - 100 6PTS 91 - 95 5PTS 86 - 90 4PTS 81 - 85 3PTS 75 - 80 2PTS Presentation Guidelines:
1. Each section must create a working committee for the said activity. 2. Students are required to wear corporate attire for levels 4 & 3 and RLE uniforms for level 2 during the presentation. 3. Manuscript (soft copy) must be submitted to the GCP Chair 2 days before the time of presentation 4. Presentation/visual aids must be clearly read by all participants and panels 5. Students should open their cameras during the presentation 6. The allotted time of presentation per group is as follows:
*Panel can interrupt the presentation if they wished to ask a question.
All corrections or comments must be taken upon for the submission of the final output MANUSCRIPT GUIDELINES:
The standard font style is Arial size of 12. A margin of 1.5 inches on the left side, 1.0 inch on the right side, top, and bottom of a letter-sized paper. The section title/main headings should be written in bold uppercase or capital and centered (e.g. INTRODUCTION, OBJECTIVES, PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT, etc.)The sub-heading and sub- sub-heading should be written starting at the left margin of the page and important words starting with capital letters (patient’s personal profile, chief complaint, etc.) Every page of the manuscript shall bear a page number in the right upper corner except the title page.
