Narrative Report of Learning Action Cell (LAC)

The Dr, Pablito V. Mendoza Sr. High School conducted Learning Action Cell
(LAC). In accordance with the Deped Order 35, s., 2016 that the school –based learning
action cell as an avenue for continuing professional development for the improvement of
teachers who are the front lines of promoting quality education in the country.

The first day of session opened with the topic of Ma’am Isabelita S. Canoza on
the 21st Century Educational Institution DepEd Mission and Values also 21 st Century
Teachers as Instructional Leader. She emphasized the importance of being updated on
the new curriculum in attainment of DepEd Mission and how to be a 21 st leader. Next
was the grade 10 curriculum chairman, Ma’am Concepcion A. Guansing who
enumerated the common problems in school and gave some tips in classroom
management. Afterwards the Science teacher, Mr. Milo R. Santos discussed a set of
principles and the standards of professional conduct under the code of ethics.

The second day of session was started with by Mr. Christian Carlo C. Fulgencio
who stated the understanding of curriculum of K-12 pedagogies and also how to
implement pedagogical approaches. This was followed by Mr. Earon Rean C. Santiago
about the enhanced basic education act of 2013 which tackled the five approaches in
education. The different approaches would be used in the new curriculum which will
elevate education. Next was Mr. Ferdinand P. Labuguen on the benefits of exercise on
how it affects our different aspects in life.Lastly Mr. Edgardo D. Yumol Jr. touches the
spiritual aspect of teachers through the word of God for teachers being instrument of
God’s Presence. He talked about how spirituality plays an important part for leaders and
followers.
The third day or rather the last day of INSET was the demonstrations of some
teachers that will reflect their classroom management. After was the comments and
suggestion from the panel of observers. On the last part was the awarding of certificate
to all the teachers participated in the In-Service Training.

The first day started with an introduction to 21 st century, how a teacher


copes in classroom and act as a professional
DAY 2

The next day of seminar was molding of spiritual aspects of teachers towards
teaching and pedagogical approaches that applied in teaching.
DAY 3

Last day of INSET is the demonstration of teachers that would


use the learning about the INSET and awarding of certificates.
