    RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG PLAN OF ACTION CY


    2020-2022 OF BARANGAY ___________, __________, CAGAYAN

    WHEREAS, the 1987 Constitution mandates that the government shall promote the
    quality of life of the people;

    WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that Local
    Government Units shall pursue undertakings to improve public morals and maintain
    peace and order, among other equally significant concerns;

    WHEREAS, Section 391 (20) of the Local Government Code of 1991 mandates
    Sangguniang Barangays to adopt measures towards the prevention and eradication of
    drug abuse;

    WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2017-142 dated October 24, 2017 provides
    for the guidelines on the formulation of a simplified Barangay POPS Plan and the
    integration of Barangay Anti-Drug Plan of Action (BADPA);

    WHEREAS, DILG-DDB Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01 provides for the
    implementing guidelines on the functionality and effectiveness of Local Anti-Drug Abuse
    Councils;
     
    WHEREAS, in adherence to the above-mentioned mandate, the Barangay Peace and
    Order Committee (BPOC) and the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) jointly
    formulated the BADPA and integrated to the BPOPS Plan of the Barangay; 

    RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council, to


    approved the Barangay Anti-Drug Plan of Action CY 2020-2022 of Barangay
    ____________, ______________, Cagayan;
