4. As a responsible citizen, how can you help solve the problems on drugs?
As a responsible citizen, to encourage the young citizen to make responsible choices throughout
the year. Prevention of activities that can help reduce risk factors and encourage healthy personal
development among young people. Lastly, remind them to show that they value, respect, and care about the
youth in community.
Numerous of young individuals are using drugs due to their personal problems or just to
empress their fellow drug users. Drug addiction is social evil. A drug addict becomes a drug
dependent. He or she cannot live without drugs. Most of the young citizen from poor family are
one of the drug addict. Exposure of drugs are caused by their surrounding or from their parents.
Their innocent and immature mind is unable to get its negative impact on them. Drugs are
addictive as they are taken either to escape from the exhausting problem or situation or for
pleasure-seeking. There are variety of of drugs in a different ways. All drugs are harmful for the
body as a whole. Family problem has also been attributed to some extent to this problem. Often
the torn family relation leads one to drug addiction. Unless a person wishes to get rid of this evil,
it is very hard, difficult to give it up, as they said. Hence, PDEA and other awareness campaign
can serve the purpose. We can prevent activities that might help them, especially the youth needs
to educate and value their life, teach them to make a right choices in life.
