2. What does the scroll of chapter 2 represent?
God’s way of punishing the people of Judah, who does not listen to the message of God.
4. Why is chapter 8 so shocking? Was it real or symbolic?
Israelites are doing destestable things in the temple of God, showing a rejection toward
God. I believe that it is real.
The righteous shall live and the sinners will die regardless of your blood relations.
7. How is Satan related to the King of Tyre (28)? Why is chapter 28 a description of
Satan?
The King of Tyre who is in his splendor and richness decieved himself and thinks that he
is god and became wicked. This same attitude was found in Satan, who also thinks that he is god,
decieved by his own splendor and richness and commited wickedness. Therefore the King of
Tyre was related to Satan.
Eziekel saw why the LORD is bringing his judgement to Judah, the LORD revealed to
him His ways of judging the people of Judah. Yet the LORD planned to give them a new heart
and a new spirit, He will gather them and make them one in their own land. And the LORD will

avenge His people to those nations or people who will hurt the Israel. Because the LORD does
not take pleasure in the death of His people.
9. How does 18:30–32 relate to 36:26–27?
God’s plan to his people in Judah as he described in chapter 36:26-27 will only come into
reality when the people of Judah will repent and turn away from their own sins. But whether they
repent or not God assured his plan of restoration, giving them new heart and spirit. Therefore, the
LORD will make it sure that they will be restored.
10. Is Ezekiel’s temple symbolic or literal?
I believe that it is both literal and symbolic, because literally the Lord have restored the
temple worship when the Jews were given the right to go back to Jerusalem and at the same time
symbolic because it might be a foreshadow of the future, the real and perfect temple of God.
