    24 The assembly started with the singing of the National Anthem through multimedia, followed by Sugbo
    25 Hymn, Medellin Hymn and a prayer led by Mrs. Maria Elena D. Uy.

    30 The meeting presided by the School Principal/PTA Adviser, Ms. Assumption T. Cañar, was called to
    31 order at exactly 1:30 P.M.

    34 III. READING AND RECONSIDERATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

    36 There was no reading of the previous minutes.

    38 VI. BUSINESS ON HAND

    41  Conduct of End of the School Year rites (refer to DepEd Memo no. 043)

    43  Wearing of face mask is a must.
    44  There should be at least one meter safe distance.
    45  Participants must be seated on their assigned seats
    46  Handshake is discouraged,.
    47  Only one parent or one designated guardian should be with the graduates during the processional
    48 or awarding, same goes during the recognition rites and moving up ceremony.
    49  Maximum of 2 hours for the said activity (refer to Deped order no. s. 2022)
    50  The award to be given for Grades 1 – 6 is academic excellence award. This is only for those
    51 pupils with average grade of 90 and above and with no failing grades. Performance award is also
    52 for selected kindergarten pupils.

    56  Parents are encouraged to prepare Birth certificates (PSA) during kindergarten for easy checking
    57 of forms.

    61  Closing rites is on June 27, 2022, Monday.
    62  Unvaccinated parents or teachers are discouraged to attend the closing rites unless a certification
    63 will be given by the doctor from Rural Health Unit.
    64  Moving up ceremony will start at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by the recognition rites at
    65 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In the afternoon, graduation ceremony will start at 1:30 to 3:30.
    66  According to the DepEd memorandum, there will be no collection for the end of the school year
    67 rites.

    71  To cater the expenses for the end of the school year rites, the school staff, parents and
    72 stakeholders have agreed to donate any amount.
    73  A PTA resolution about this donation drive should be made by the PTA officers.
