How is quantitative related or important on the different fields of discipline?


Possible answers:
Quantitative research first investigates how we can quantify and measure outcomes of various
experiments. Then it applies these measures to understanding how humanly important
processes work in practice. A secondary outcome of this kind of research is the ability to
educate both scientists and the public at large concerning what things we know how to measure
versus things where we don't know how to measure outcomes and must settle for "qualitative"
research to provide general indications of the relationships. Both types of research encourage
the understanding that many things we observe in human affairs are "multi-factoral" — that is,
influenced by multiple factors causes and effects.
