The Manuel S. Enverga University is an excellent choice for those who choose higher
education to enrich them and to better their lives. When a student decides to enroll in the
University, he or she becomes part of a learning community where extremely selective and
competitive programs that are at par with those of the finest institutions in the Philippines
are offered. A distinctive hallmark of Manuel S. Enverga University is excellence in the
delivery of instruction, adaptability to the individual student’s characteristics, learning styles

and needs, and adherence to the truth for the development of creative, proactive,
productive and God-fearing individuals who will help in the transformation of Filipino
society.
Thus, at the heart of the different academic programs is student-centered learning where
teaching and training go beyond the confines of the classroom and where students can
comfortably progress as far as their abilities can take them. The Enverga University
promotes a caring learning environment among the community of teachers and scholars.
The acquisition of knowledge and skills is attained through interaction with the world
outside the academe even as the process encourages students to be proactive in their
own learning and growth.
In like manner, the University’s Community Extension Service Program is anchored on the
general objective of attaining improved quality of life among people in the barangay,
particularly the marginalized and the underserved. Community service projects are
undertaken in collaboration with three major partners for development: the University, the
barangay, and other cooperating agencies. There are three phases of development in the
barangay, which is the base of CES projects – value redirection, enhancement of
environmental conditions, and training for livelihood opportunity and improved income.
The community outreach component ensures that whatever knowledge, skills, and
expertise generated from the academe is used in the service of the community. The
rationale is that a relevant education should help transform communities into more livable,
healthy and sustainable environments where peace loving, law abiding and productive
citizens live.
Education at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation is holistic and empowers its
students to prepare for the professions or to earn a trade, and at the same time, trains
them to become responsible and socially conscious citizens concerned for the
improvement of the quality of life in their communities and of the country in general.
The University aims for the synergy of instruction, research and community service in the
fulfillment of its mission-vision from the grade to the graduate schools.
