TRAINING, TESTING AND EXERCISING

To cope up with the effect of the COVID19 Pandemic,which gave


uncertainty to the continuity of business operations of Benedicto College
TechVoc School. There are certain guidelines set forth by TESDA to ensure that
inspite of the Pandemic , TVET Institution can still conduct classes/trainings
under the New Normal.

Preparation of the site/training school in general has been done.


Classroom and laboratories are being prepared too as per Health protocols by
the IATF-EID and TESDA guidelines were followed. Strict compliance to the
said health protocol is being observed by the Institution to get the necessary
permit to resume training. In fact the school has secured a clearance from the
LGU’s for the resumption of onsite and offsite training. Flexible learning
delivery will be implemented. Trainers have undergo a Learning Training.
Learning material such as Competency Based Curriculum (CBC ) and Training
Plan has been updated.

Registration for enrollees and orientation of trainees will be done online.


Training premises such as classroom and laboratories/ workshop areas has
been cleaned and arranged. Disinfection and cleaning of the premises will be
maintained before, during and after each use.

Entrances and exit will be provided with footbath , alcohol, sanitizers


and wash area stations will be provided as well, with necessary signage on
designated areas, To guide the students, markers are placed as well
especially inside the classrooms and laboratories to let students strictly
observe social distancing . In the event of face to face activities at least 1 to 1.5
meters apart from each other. A seat plan was already made. Learners will be
monitored daily, strict wearing of face mask or PPE in the
workshop/laboratories.

Online training of TESDA regarding COVID19 will be implemented and


all trainees as well as all Trainers should take the online training before the
start of the training to make them fully aware of the COVID19 effect,
prevention and safety during training.

In the event of assessing (testing) the trainees certain guidelines will be


followed as well. It is a known fact that TESDA training is more on skills. So
during assessment it will be strictly followed that a limited number of trainees
will be assessed at a time.

Strict social distancing, wearing of PPE, mask and face shield for trainees
and trainers is a must.

With the institution’scompliance and strict observation and


implementation of the safety protocols , it will eventually lead to the continuity
of the business operations to offer TESDA trainings under the new normal.
