DEAR DANIEL

(CASUAL BLUE OUTFIT)

Pattern by Melani

This ‘Dear Daniel’ outfit pattern is created by Melani, and as such cannot
be copied, modified, selling or reproduced in any way. You are welcome to
create and sell as many of your finished items, please just give a reference
back to me. Thank you and happy crocheting..!!
This pattern only contains the pattern to make Dear Daniel outfit. For
making the doll, you can use and follow the pattern from my Hello Kitty
pattern.

The doll is exactly the same with Hello Kitty, the only difference is that
Dear Daniel has hair. You can knot the hair in top of the head (see
pictures below).
TOOLS & MATERIAL REQUIRED

1. Milk cotton yarn or similar yarn (colors can be adjusted to your liking)
2. Hook number 3 for milk cotton yarn, for different kind of yarn can be
adjusted.
3. Stitch marker, scissor, and tapestry needle.

ABBREVIATIONS

R : Round or Row

MR : Magic Ring

CH : Chain

SC : Single Crochet

HDC : Half Double Crochet

DC : Double Crochet

INC : Increase

DEC : Decrease

BLO : Back Loop Only

FLO : Front Loop Only

SLST : Slip Stitch

SK : Skip

FO : Fasten Off or cutting off the thread, always leave some for
connecting parts or to hide the thread behind the knit.
SHIRT (Do it back and forth)

1. CH 29. Starting in 2nd chain from hook. Do: 4 sc, 3 sc in 1 loop, 5

 From the end of row 10, imeddiately sc to the middle edge of the
shirt till the top. From the top, sc down again below.
 In the bottom, continue sc along the bottom edges. At the end fill
each hole 2 sc.
 After you reached the end, go up again, and then down again. FO
SLEEVES

Starting from middle bottom of arms hole in shirt, insert yarn then make sc
(Decrease bottom corner section). Join slst. 20 sc in total (Count it,
because left and right must be the same)

1. CH 1. hdc (20)
2. CH 1. sc (20)
3. CH 1. hdc (20)
4. CH 1. sc. FO (20)

COLLAR

1. Insert yarn starting from the left of shirt front. Start in 4 hole from
the hook. Insert yarn, then make 25 sc (ends before the last 5
holes). Turn.
2. CH 1. Fill sc, BLO. Turn. (25)
3. CH 1. hdc mengeliling. Turn. (25)
4. CH 1. 1 hdc, 23 dc, 1 hdc, Finish with 2 ch and slipstitch. FO
PANTS
 LEFT LEG PANTS
1. CH 44 (measure it first to the waist of the doll) Can be added or
reduced. Join slst, ch 1, fill hdc.
2. CH 1. ( 10 hdc, inc hdc) x 4 (48)
3. CH 1. sc (48)
4. CH 1. hdc (48)
5. CH 1. sc (48)
6. CH 1. 24 sc, then make 4 ch and slst on first sc row 6.

 RIGHT LEG PANTS


1. Start from behind near leg 1, make 1 sc, then ch 4, join with front
part near leg 1, then make 18 sc. Join.

2-5. Similar to left leg pants R 7-10. FO


SHOES

Use light blue yarn


1. 8 sc in magic ring (8)
2. Inc x 8 (16)
3. (1 sc, inc ) x 8 (24)
4. (2 sc, inc) x 8 (32)
Use white yarn
5. Fill sc BLO (32)
Use dark blue color
6. Fill sc (32)
7. Fill 10 sc, (dec) x 6, 10 sc (26)
8. Fill 8 sc, (dec) x 5, 8 sc. FO (21)
ASSEMBLY

1. Attach button studs in the shirt.


2. Attach plastic buttons on shirt front.
3. Give a few hair on Daniel’s head.

HOORAY,,, Daniel’s outfit is finished, he is ready to go out with Kitty now...
