First of all, let me introduce myself, I am Natnael Girma Tefera and am graduating student of Electro-Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The undergraduate curriculum in Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Addis Ababa Science and
Technology University introduces me to a wide variety of engineering subjects. Various courses like Robotics and Computer Vision, Programming Languages, Electronics I&II, Design of Mechatronic System, Design of Machine Element I&II, Embedded system, Material Handling, Industrial safety and Machine Installation, Digital Signal Processing, Modern Control, Industrial Automation, Computer Integrated Manufacturing CIM, Industrial Management and Engineering Economy, Entrepreneurship for Engineering and Wireless Sensor network for Robotics provided me with a strong footing in the theoretical concept of Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
While offering both depth and breadth across this field, these courses put into perspective the importance and relevance of Electro-Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering and the application of its fundamentals to the problems faced by the real world. So I can realize that learning and developing my knowledge of Mechatronics. I will have a great contribution to the society since our country and even the world has begins to transfer manual system to computerize. I am much eager to adopt and know new technologies.
I am really enthusiastic to attend a Master of Mechatronics Engineering in order to understand
different Automation concepts, because every industry needs the concept of Mechatronics. Good reputation of high quality education standards, an extremely distinguished faculty members and research facilities are the factors which have motivated me to choose Sabancı University for my M.Sc.
