I. INTRODUCTION.
The Department of Education (DepEd) had its annual “Brigada Eskwela” from
August 1 to 26, 2022 for all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
“Brigada Eskwela” is also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week
In connection with this, Remedios National High School started the Kick –
Off Program on August 6, 2022.
II. RATIONALE.
Brigada Eskwela 2022 will be a full-blown program focusing to deliver access
to education and quality of education. Comprising the physical aspect of 2022 BE
is Brigada Eskwela sa Paghahanda, which is a couple of weeks’ school maintenance
and minor to medium repair for the re-opening of in-person classes.
With the theme Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral, this BE, which will
run until August 26, highlights the country’s collective efforts from various
partnership engagements, creating a safe learning environment for the learners,
teaching and non-teaching personnel, and community to achieve safety while ensuring
the delivery of quality education.

On the morning of August 8, the administrators, teaching and non -teaching staffs of
RNHS together with the stakeholders, barangay officials headed by Brgy Captain Brenda
Paule, some municipal officials led by Ms. , Head of 4P’s., parents and students gathered on
the ground of RNHS and waited for the parade to start.
At exactly, 8;30 the parade started. It was led by the RNHS dancers. It started from
the school up to the highway. The people of Remedios enjoyed watching the street dancing of
RNHS dancers.
At exactly 9;30, the kick-off program started. Mr Rolando A. Santos, led the singing
of National Anthem and followed by a prayer that was led by Ms. Abigael B. Bagang. Then
the principal welcomed the audience through a welcome remark. It was followed by an
inspirational message from Hon. Barangay Capatin Brenda Paule and PTA President Lea
Agustin. The RNHS dancers entertained the audience with their energetic dance number and
followed by the distribution of Certificate of Appreciation to the guests.
The program was ended by a closing remark from the BE Coordinator Ma’am Mary
Grace Bernal Morales.
After the program, some organizations, barangay officials, teachers, parents and
students went to their designated areas and started the cleaning and repairing.
V. FINANCIAL MATTER.
Source of budget for Brigada Eskwela comes from different donations and
solicitations.
