NOTE : THE DATE AND VENUE ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
(a) Recruitment processes for Sol Tech NA/NA Vet held in recruiting years
2020-21 & 2021-22 were suspended due to COVID-19 Pandemic. The validity
period of medical test is for 180 days and the same has lapsed being no more
valid in respect of candidates who are awaiting conduct of CEE as also
considerable time has elapsed post the conduct of physical test. Hence, there is
a requirement of conducting fresh physical and medical tests in respect of said
candidates.
(b) In order to provide opportunity to all candidates, two years age relaxation
has been granted for recruiting year 2022-23. Candidates who had passed their
physical fitness test and recruitment medicals in recruiting years 2020-21 &
2021-22 and are still willing for recruitment are advised to re-apply online on
Join Indian Army Website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and undergo the process
of physical and medical test again.
(c) Candidates will login after 25 December 2022 and take printout of the admit
card which they will carry to Rally Site.
(d) Candidates will be allowed to participate in the Rally if they produce Admit
Card. Affidavit for details duly attested by notary and as per format given at Appendix.
3. Army Recruitment Rally for Soldier Tech NA/NA Vet (For Men) will be held at RCTC
Ground, Barrackpore Cantt (West Bengal) for West Bengal, Sikkim & Odisha States.
Admit Card for the rally will be sent through registered email from 18 December 2022 to
25 December 2022. Candidates shall reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned
in Admit Card.
4. The screening of candidates will be carried out for Sol Tech NA/NA Vet as per
qualitative requirement :-

Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)
Physical measurement will be carried out as per the Physical standards.
Medical Test
(a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.
(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH for specialist review. Candidates to
report to designated Military Hospital within 05 days from referral and review
medical exam to be completed by Military Hospital within 14 days as per policy.
Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Date and
time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
(b) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally
Site itself.
(c) Admit Card for the CEE for the review Fit cases will be issued after getting
medically fit by concerned specialist/specialists at MH.
(a) Admit Card. Printed on Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink
the size).
(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School
Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly
signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of
the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is
endorsed. Relationship certificate should bear watermarks of the concern
Records.
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C Certificate and Republic Day Parade certificate
should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority.
Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated
by concerned NCC Group Commanders. Provisional certificates are accepted only
during the notified rally duration neither earlier nor later. Bonus marks will be awarded
only for the certificate /provisional certificate (subject to verification) produced during
the rally. Candidates will not be permitted to claim higher bonus marks / exemption
from CEE, for any such certificate obtained beyond the rally duration.
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at international level and State
at National level within the last two years (for list of sports under
which relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to
www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website).
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University
team or regional team at District level within last two years (Sports Certificate
should be with registration number and from government recognized sport
institutes / bodies).
(iii) List of Sports. List of Sports for enrolment is attached as Appendix ‘C’.
(p) Certificate of Bonus Marks. All original certificates / photocopies duly attested
pertaining to Bonus marks will be accepted only during the Rally. No certificates to
include NCC Certificates, Sports Certificate, Relationship Certificate or any other
certificates to claim Bonus Marks/ Relaxation would be accepted after termination of
the Rally.
(q) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card
& Aadhar Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay &
allowances and other social benefits scheme.
Note :-
(i) The above marks are fixed depending upon the eligibility of a
candidate and has no relation to his performance in Common Entrance
Examination (CEE).
(ii) Only one type of Bonus Marks (Max of the permissible) will be added
to the total.
(vi) Sports Certificate are valid for two years from the issue date as on first
day of the recruitment rally for which the candidate is being screened.
(a) Any candidate who has not received admit card 05 days prior to the Rally,
may approach Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Kolkata for further clarification.
(b) 01 October 2022 will be taken as effective date of determining age eligible for
candidate. Candidates to produce 10th class/ birth certificate at the time of preliminary
document check.
(c) Candidates are required to report at the Rally Site by 0100 (AM) Hours on
their respective scheduled dates. Candidates reporting after 0600 (AM) Hours without
appropriate justification will not be permitted to participate in the Rally. Candidate
should be clean shaven (Except Sikh Candidate).
(d) Personnel e-mail ID and Mobile Number is MUST. All important messages will
be sent to this e-mail ID/Mobile Number like short listed/call letter/joining
instruction/result etc. Sharing of e-mail ID and Mobile Number is not permitted.
Remember the User Name and Password for future use. (Recruiting Office
(Headquarters), Kolkata will not be responsible for not getting required information if
e-mail/ Mobile Number of candidates given is wrong/ changed).
(e) Candidate must carry their AADHAR Card as proof of identity which could be
authenticated biometrically at the Rally Site. Candidates to ensure AADHAR details
are matching with the details mentioned in the documents and the Online Application.
Candidates from J&K, Assam and Meghalaya are to carry any other valid ID Proof.
(f) Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and DOB must be entered
exactly as per Matriculation/10th Class Board Certificate.
(g) Candidate must enter contact details and permanent home address exactly as
per Domicile/ Nativity/ Permanent Residential Certificate issued by Sub Divisional
Magistrate/ District Magistrate.
(j) A Grievance Cell will be established at the Rally Site to redress any
grievances. Candidates disqualified for not meeting the laid down criteria are advised
to obtain rejection slip, before exiting the rally site. For reporting any touting activity/
malpractice observed, candidate may intimate the same on Helpline No
033-22236881/ 033-22237152.
(k) Candidates are requested to report at rally site with proper shave and hair cut
so as to ensure proper identification & Medical Review.
(l) Recruitment is purely based on merit list depending on available vacancies.
Candidates do not have any right to claim recruitment in Army just for passing in
recruitment process.
(m) Candidates not in possession of requisite certificates are liable for rejection.
(n) Name of State will be filled by the candidates of West Bengal in full as
West Bengal instead of WB during online registration.
Beware of Touts.
12. Recruitment into the army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to
anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at
all stages is computerised and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware
of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.
13. Giving/taking bribe, production of bogus/fake certificates and indulging in unfair means
is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law.
14. Modus Operandi of Touts. In the past, a number of candidates have been found
victims of touts, fake documents/impersonation and in the bargain have lost their
candidature. Modus operandi/means used by the touts are as under: -
(a) Issue of fake PFT Slips/impersonation during various stages of rally. Conduct
fake recruitment rallies.
(b) Snatching/taking away original certificates from candidates who have been
declared fit at initial stage and thereafter harassing them.
(c) Taking away “ADMIT CARD” from the candidates under plea that they will
follow up their results.
(e) Once a candidate gets through on his own efforts touts demand money in
return of the original certificates.
Important Instructions
15. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit
Card in duplicate generated online through the official website
www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to
Civil Police.
16. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in
the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be
disqualified.
17. Certificates with overwriting and tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type
will not be accepted.
18. All documents submitted by the candidates are to be verified by government agencies
before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting
fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found
to have produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment,
despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.
19. No compensation for Death/Injury/loss etc during the rally and no travelling
allowance/dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally
at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity
Bond is a mandatory requirement.
20. Character certificate without photo attested by certificate issuing authority will be
rejected.
21. Candidates to come for the rally only on the date as per Admit Card. Candidates
should bring pen, Handkerchief.
22. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancing
drugs is strictly banned. Any candidate found in possession of or to have used the same will
be debarred from further screening.
23. Tattoo.
(b) Permanent body tattoos of religious sentiment are only permitted on inner face
of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back
(dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not
acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection.
25. Mobile phones/Smart Watches are not permitted in the rally site and CEE.
26. CEE for the selected candidates will be held in tentatively in the month of
February 2023.
28. At the rally site, all candidate should report duly shaved (beard, chest hair, axillary
hair, pubic hair and with crew hair cut (except Sikh Candidates), for identification at various
stages of rally process failing which candidate can be barred from participation in recruitment
rally.
29. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for two to three times.
Candidates should make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.
30. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming
for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical
measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned
by a doctor prior to the rally.
31. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch,
medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.
32. Vaccination Certificate. All candidates appearing for rally should be fully vaccinated
for COVID-19. The certificate to be produced to authorities upon asking.
33. Anti COVID-19 Precautions. All candidates will ensure that they are in possession
of personal face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers. All other anti COVID-19 precautions as
laid down by conducting staff from time to time will be strictly adhered to. If the candidate is
having symptoms on the designated day, he will not be allowed to participate in the rally.
