(V) HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
1. EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES :
EYE CONTACT : Flush the affected area with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation develops, seek medical attention. SKIN CONTACT : Cleanse the affected areas with soap and water. If redness or irritation develops, seek medical attention. INHALATION : If irritation occurs, remove to fresh air, avoid further inhalation. INGESTION : Seek medical attention.
2. CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE :
• Exposure to vapour at high concentrations may have the following effects : irritation of nose, throat and respiratory tract. Low volatility makes acute effects unlikely at ambient temperatures. Repeated exposure to aerosols may result in lung damage. • Repeated or prolonged contact may produce defatting of the skin leading to irritation and dermatitis.
(VI) STABILITY AND REACTIVITY DATA
Chemical stability : Stable Incompability with other materials : May react with strong oxidizing agent, such as chlorates, nitrates, peroxides, etc. Hazardous polymerization : Polymerization will not occur
(VII) DISPOSAL PROCEDURES
Dispose of in accordance with all applicable local and national regulations. Incineration is the recommended method of disposal. Must not be disposed together with household rubbish. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.
