Description:
High build two component solvent free amine cured epoxy floor coating with self-smoothing and seamless properties for protection and
decoration. It is highly resistant to chemicals and abrasions and gives a smooth, high-gloss finish without any joint traces.
Recommended Use:
Recommended to use where high wear, abrasion and chemical resistance also high cleaning properties are required. Ideal for variety surfaces
such as concrete, cement, mortars and steel. It can be used on abroad range of interior flooring such as: aircraft hangers, factories,
warehouses, car garages, parking, power stations, exhibition halls, showrooms, food industries and laboratories.
If intended to be used in exterior, it should be overcoated by “Jazeera Florthane SB”.

• Superior slip resistance when using “Jazeera Aggregate” in the painting system.

• Finish: Gloss (gloss level 80% @ 60°).
• Color: Grey and other limited colors.
• Specific Gravity: 1.52 ( mixed paint varies from color to color) ASTM D1475
• Viscosity: 115 KU (varies from color to color)
• Volume Solid: 100 % ASTM D2697
• DFT: 200-500 µm per coat. Depending on the surface and system.
Theoretical Spreading Rate: 1.3-3.3 m²/kg.

Surface Preparation:
For Concrete Surfaces:
• All new surfaces must be cured at least for 28 days prior to application.
• The concrete substrate should be sound with minimum compresive strength 30 N/mm² and pull off strength 1.5 N/mm².
• Make sure that the surface is clean , dry , free from dust, oil, grease, salt , mold, all forms release agents /curing and old paint.
• the surface should be prepared by light grit blasting or suface grinding to achieve concrete surface profile CSP2-3 as per International
Concrete Repaire Institute ICRI. No 310.2 / SSPC - SP 13 or NACE 6
• Remove dust from the surface by vacuum machine.
• Fill the holes and cracks with suitable fillers "Jazeera Epoxy Crack Filler 400" prior to application.

For steel surfaces

• Remove all visible surface deposits such as grease, oils with suitable detergent per (SSPC-SP1). Remove salt and other contaminants by
washing using high pressure fresh water. Any fabrication defects such as weld spatter, delamination, sharp edges and weld slag should be
repaired prior to surface preparation.
• The surface must be prepared according to Sa 2½ (NACE No.2/SSPC-SP10).
Application Tools:
• Roller: short naps roller (3/8 inch) is suitable type for epoxy.
• Brush: a stiff nylon brush.recommended for narrow areas.
• Squeegee: recommended to achieve a continuous coating.
• Trowel / notched trowel : can be use.
• Spike Roller should be used after achieving the film thickness for avoiding air bubbles.
Application Conditions:
• Temperature during application should be more than (5°C).
• Surface temperature: at least (3°C) above dew point.
• Relative humidity: maximum 85%.
• Concrete moisture content should not exceed than 4%.
Application Instructions:
• Do not apply on wet and moistened surfaces until they are completely dry.
• PH of surface should not exceed 9.
• Holes and crack should be assessment and treated by using “Jazeera Epoxy Crack Filler 400”.
• Concrete damages should be repaired before application.
• Rough and irregular surfaces need to leveled by using screed mortar products, depending on surface irregularities.
• Freshy applied paint should be protected from water and damp at least 24 hours.
Mixing:
Mixing ratio: Base Hardener
By Weight: 6.14 : 1
Mixing procedure:
• Stir base by using a low speed mechanical stirrer.
• Pour hardener into component A.
• Mix the two components continously for 2 minutes until a homogenous mixture and uniform color obtained.
Pot Life:
50 minutes @ 25°C.
15 minutes @ 45°C.
The mixture should be used within this potlife time.
Thinner:
Not Recommended.
Painting System:
• For Concrete and Cement surfaces:
-Primer: Apply one coat of “Jazeera Epoxy Sealer / Epoxy Sealer Clear / Epoxy Sealer 400” according to surface nature.
-Topcoat: • Apply two coats of “Jazeera Floor Coating 400”.
-Note: for exterior application apply two coats of “Jazeera Florthan SB” as a topcoat.
• For slip resistance finish use Jazeera Aggregate as following:
• Broadcasting method:
- Broadcast “Jazeera Aggregate G10-G30-G40” on the primer by rate 0.5-1 kg/m² or 1st coat of “Jazeera Floor Coating 400” before drying.
- After drying the excess aggrigate should be removed by vacuum cleaner or brush.
- Apply one or two coats of “Jazeera Floor Coating 400” as required roughness.
• Mixing Method: Mix “Jazeera Aggregate G10-G30” with “Jazeera Floor Coating 400” by rate 7.5-8 kg/drum 25kg.

•For Steel Surfaces:

-Primer: Apply one coat of “Jazeera Epoxy Zinc Phosphate primer”.
-Topcoat: Apply two coats of “Jazeera Floor Coating 400”.
- Note: for exterior application apply two coats of “Jazeera Florthan SB” as a topcoat.
Drying Time:
• Surface dry: 4-5 hours
• Dry to light traffic: 15 hours
• Dry for heavy traffic and service: 7 days.
• Recoating interval: 12 hours. (minimum)
36 hours. (maximum)
• Full cure: 7 days.
All above results according to ASTM D5895 @ 25°C.
Packing:
Packed in: Base Hardener
Drum (27.36 kg) / Kit 18 L: 23.53 kg 3.83 kg
Shelf Life & Storage:

Shelf life : 12 months @ 25 °C.
Storage: The container should be kept in sealed, dry, cool,
well ventilated place and stored in accordance with national regulations.
Handling and Safety:

• Cleanup: Use “Jazeera Thinner 507” for tools cleaning and in case of spillage, absorb and dispose.
• Handling: Handle with care. Stir very well before use.
• Health and Safety: Please read and follow the precautionary notices displayed on the container, and all caution statements on the MSDS of
this product. During application of paint, contact of liquid paint with eyes, skin, inhalation of paint mist and paint vapor should be strongly
avoided. For spray application systems; applicator should wear protective clothing, gloves, also eye, skin and respiratory protection are
always recommended. Keep away from reach of children.
• Ventilation: When used in enclosed areas, thorough air circulation must be used during and after application until the coating is cured. In
addition, respirators must be used by all applicator.
• Caution: This product contains flammable solvents, keep away from sparks and open flame. For information on LEL and TLV, please read
the MSDS.
• Environmental safety: Please donate the leftover paint and packaging to your local authorized institution for usage or recycling purpose.
• Note: Wastes and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations made under the Control of Pollution Act
and the Environmental Protection Act.
