Employment Contract
Between us, _____, holder of the identity card / holder of passport number ______, for the
purposes of this contract referred to or hereinafter as THE EMPLOYER; and ______, major,
with passport / identity card number ____, (marital stauts), (occupation ), neighbor of _____,
hereinafter referred to as THE WORKER, we agree to enter into this EMPLOYMENT
CONTRACT FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD, which will be governed by the provisions of
the Labor Code and other applicable regulations in the matter, as well as in the following
clauses:
SECOND: WORKING DAY. THE WORKER understands that her work is framed within
the stipulations of article 143 (one hundred and forty-three) of the Labor Code, therefore, she
must comply with a working day of __ hours per day, for a total of ___ hours per week and
will be obliged to fulfill her functions within the legal limits, likewise, You can enjoy ____
as your day off.
FOURTH: SALARY. For the fulfillment of the work, THE EMPLOYER undertakes to
pay THE WORKER, the monthly sum of ___, payable in a ____ way the days __ and ___
of each month, in accordance with the hours worked. The above amount will be subject to
the legal deductions and authorizations given by THE WORKER. Payment will be made in
cash or by bank deposit to the account that will be agreed between the parties in due course.
The possibility of increasing said salary will be considered as one of the discretionary powers
of the EMPLOYER and will not be understood as an obligation of the EMPLOYER or as a
right of THE WORKER.
FIFTH. EXPENSE. The EMPLOYER shall pay or reimburse THE WORKER for all
reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by THE WORKER in connection with her
services on behalf of the EMPLOYER. Such payment and/or reimbursement will be made
against THE WORKER's receipt of all support receipts, invoices and/or any proof of
payment, and in accordance with the EMPLOYER's general policies effective at that time.
SIXTH. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION. Both contracting parties agree that
this contract is governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica and any dispute regarding
its terms and conditions must be resolved by a competent court in San José, Costa Rica.
OCTAVE. NULLITY, NOT WAIVER. If any provision of this agreement is declared void
or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, this agreement shall remain firm
except for the part that has been declared void or unenforceable by such court. A waiver of
any breach of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of further
breaches of this or any other provision of this Agreement.
By virtue of the above, we signed two originals of equal content and value, on the ___ day
of ___ of 202_.
