    Our college and our department do not believe in giving students only
    the book Knowledge so our HEAD.Y.R.JOSHI Sir & specially PROF.RAHUL
    CHAUHAN Sir often organized industrial visits.The purpose of such visits is
    only that as a mechatronics engineering the student who are studying in the class
    (as per corse).The student fell atmosphere of industries.Student understands the
    various processes (Operation) are used in industries.

    This time we have visited Hi-Tech Engineers from our collage.It is


    located in Anand Vithal Udyognagar which is 5 Km from our collage.This
    company was established in the year 1994 by Mr.H.M.Thakar.

    The company manufactures various size of gear wheel and pinions.


    Finish gear quality will be DIN-6 class as per DIN 3961,DIN 3963.They also
    carry out over hauling of gear boxes and give the inspection report, showing the
    condition of gear components, bearing, backless and play etc.
    Hi-Tech Engineers manufactures maximum size of gear wheel and pinions.
    The sound infrastructure and instrument assure the quality of gear wheels. The
    parameter for quality assurance such as ultrasonic testing, chemical properties,
    mechanical properties and hardness testind are certified and “test certificate”
    given by the company. The company have complete the setup to manufacture
    hardened and profile ground gear pairs and components for helical, spur and
    planetary gear boxes.

    They have following machine :-


     Bore and Face grinding machine
     Gear shaping
     Gear hobbing (Small – large)
     CNC Turning center
     Key way milling
     Hub Sharping
     Lathe machine
     Cylindrical grinding machine
     Key way slotting machine
     Gear tester etc.
    (All the above machines are made in Germany)
    In this visit our 3 professors come with us. Actually this company was
    small but we enjoyed watching and learning about different gear manufacturing
    Processes as well.

    History :-

    Hi-Tech Engineers, was a dream of Mr. H. M. Thakar, a technocrat


    and visionary, while working in the capacity of Head of Gear Division in a
    leading engineering company for more than a decade. He possesses a keen
    insight in this field. With the help of his sons, Mr. Manoj Thakar and Mr.
    Hemant Thakar, he started the company in 1994 and has seen its growth and
    development over the span of 10 years. With right infrastructure and skilled
    manpower, Hi-Tech Engineers is put up at Vithal Udyognagar - Anand.

    Infrastructure :-

    Hi-Tech Engineers and its another unit Hi-Tech Drives Pvt. Ltd. are located
    in Vitthal Udyognagar, Anand in Gujarat. Latest technology machines and tools
    are used to develop products with proper fitment and uniformity to make gears
    and shafts with reduced friction and noise level to improve their life. Our
    production house with all other departments R&D, QC, marketing and sales are
    destined to bring in reputable products for its esteemed customers from all
    around the globe. The company consistently improves and adapts new
    technologies to be at par with international quality standards. We maintain high
    quality and prompt delivery by operating its own manufacturing facility.
