    Course Objectives:

    ➢ To enable students to understand the Successive differentiation and Homogeneous functions.


    ➢ To enable students to understand the Total differentiation and Approximation of Error.
    ➢ To enable students to understand the Double and Triple Integrations.
    ➢ To enable students to understand the Differential equation, partial differential equation, and
    Higher Order Linear differential equation.

    Module I: (Lecture 10)


    Successive differentiation, Leibnitz Theorem, Partial derivative, Partial derivative of Higher orders,
    Homogeneous function, Euler’s Theorem on Homogeneous functions.

    Module II: (Lecture 10)


    Total differentiation, Jacobians, Properties of Jacobians, and Jacobians of Implicit functions,
    Approximation of Error.

    Module III: (Lecture 10)


    Double Integration, Evaluation of Double Integration, Change of Order of Integration, Area by Double
    Integration, Triple Integrals.

    Module IV: (Lecture 10)


    Definition of Differential equation, Order and degree of a differential equation, Solution of differential
    equation, Differential equation of first order and first degree: variables separable, Linear differential
    equation and Higher Order Linear differential equation with constant coefficients.

    Module V: (Lecture 10)


    Partial differential equations, Order and degree of partial differential equation, Lagrange’s Linear
    Equations, Linear Homogeneous partial differential equation, Non Homogeneous partial differential
    equations.

    On completion of the course, student will be able to:
    ➢ Demonstrate an understanding of the foundations and history of mathematics.
    ➢ Perform computations in higher mathematics.
    ➢ Read and understand middle-level proofs.
    ➢ Write and understand basic proofs.
    ➢ Develop and maintain problem-solving skills.
