Covenant Family Day

We serve a Family loving God.

 The first family created enjoyed blessings from the Lord and God has not changed
– Gen. 1:27-28/ Mal. 3:6
Gen 1:27-28
27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and
female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful,
and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish
of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon
the earth.
Mal 3:6
6
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

 God wants us saved and out entire household, as we saw in the case of Cornelius
and the Jailer– Act. 10:24/44/ Act. 16:30-33
Acts 10:24
24
And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them,
and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
Acts 10:44
44
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the
word.
Acts 16:30-33
30
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said,
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they
spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took
them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and
all his, straightway.

 We should demand for the salvation of every member of our household, for that
is the will of God – Heb. 2:3/ Jhn 3:16/ 1 Jhn 5:14-15
Heb 2:3
3
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be
spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
John 3:16
16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 5:14-15
14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to
his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know
that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

To Secure the Rescue of our Family Members

 We must recognise that every child of God has been redeemed from the curses of
law and brought under the blessings of Abraham – Gal. 3:13-14/29
Gal 3:13-14
13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is
written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham
might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of
the Spirit through faith.
Gal 3:29
29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.
 But we must do the works of Abraham to experience the blessings of Abraham in
our lives – Isa. 51:1-3/ Jhn 8:39
Isa 51:1-3
Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the
rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto
Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and
blessed him, and increased him. 3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all
her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the
garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the
voice of melody.
John 8:39
39
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If
ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

 We must recognise that our obedience as individuals is gateway to world of all

round blessings in the kingdom – Psa. 112:1-10/ Mat. 6:33
Ps 112:1-10
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in
his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the
upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his
righteousness endureth for ever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:
he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5 A good man sheweth favour,
and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for
ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil
tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be
afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to
the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. 10
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
the desire of the wicked shall perish.
Matt 6:33
33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you.

 We must enter into a covenant to serve God and the interest of His kingdom, so as
to bring an end to all the wickedness of the wicked against our household
– 2 Chr. 15:12-15/ Exo. 23:25-26/ Jer. 33:20-22
2 Chron 15:12-15
12
And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their
heart and with all their soul; 13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel
should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. 14 And they
sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with
cornets. 15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart,
and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave
them rest round about.
Ex 23:25-26
25
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;
and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their
young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
Jer 33:20-22
20
Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the
night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; 21 Then may also my
covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign
upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. 22 As the host of heaven
cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed
of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
 Open up to receive and believe every blessing proclaimed on our lives and families
in this service – Num. 23:8/ Num. 23:23/ Isa. 44:26
Num 23:8
8
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD
hath not defied?
Num 23:23
23
Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against
Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God
wrought!
Isa 44:26
26
That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his
messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of
Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

But What is in the Anointing Oil – Exo. 30:25-31

Ex 30:25-31
25
And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art
of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil. 26 And thou shalt anoint the
tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, 27 And the
table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense, 28
And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot. 29 And
thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall
be holy. 30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they
may minister unto me in the priest's office. 31 And thou shalt speak unto the children of
Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

 The power that destroys all satanic yokes – Isa. 10:27/ Luk. 10:19
Isa 10:27
27
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off
thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because
of the anointing.
Luke 10:19
19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 The healing power of God – Mak. 6:7/11-12/ Jam. 5:14-15

Mark 6:7
7
And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two;
and gave them power over unclean spirits;
Mark 6:11-12
11
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off
the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be
more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. 12
And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
James 5:14-15
14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray
over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith
shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they
shall be forgiven him.

 The Breakthrough power of God – 1 Sam. 16:13/ 1 Sam. 17:32-50

1 Sam 16:13
13
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and
the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and
went to Ramah.
1 Sam 17:32-50 [ABRDGED]
32
And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go
and fight with this Philistine. 33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against
this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his
youth. 34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came
a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and
smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught
him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and
the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath
defied the armies of the living God.
Vs:45-50
45
Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear,
and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the
armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine
hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases
of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of
the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this
assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is
the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands. 48 And it came to pass, when the
Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran
toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took
thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone
sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over
the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but
there was no sword in the hand of David.

 The miracle working power of God – Act. 3:6/15-16/ Act. 5:12-16

Acts 3:6
6
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the
name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Acts 3:15-16
15
And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are
witnesses. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong,
whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect
soundness in the presence of you all.
Acts 5:12-16
12
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the
people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. 13 And of the rest durst
no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. 14 And believers were the
more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) 15 Insomuch that they
brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the
least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came
also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and
them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
