It arises when people feel a complex change in attitude towards their native language due to external or internal factors. Our language gives us our identity, and throughout history outsiders have tried to undermine native people's nationalism by taking away their mother tongue. True nation lovers respect their own language but also embrace all languages to create harmony.     TOPIC- LINGUISTIC CHAUVINISM

    Chauvinism is the term that firmly exercises power and


    superiority over others. Linguistics is the study of the
    evolution of language owing to cultural, social, historical, and
    political manifestations. Language is a gift of humans, and no
    language is static and constantly undergoes a change. The
    linguistic study explores casual communication with technical
    expertise.
    The mind plays a virtual game with our soul. It always intends
    to do something far from what our soul has expected.” There
    is a basic tendency in human beings to resist unnatural things
    from the things that belong to them. May it be a language, a
    place, or a commodity; we are certainly addicted to a few
    things, we cannot isolate any further. The reason is simple
    and just. It is yours and it must be with us. Nothing works
    well than our language for communication and suppose for
    an instance, you have met strangers, of unknown dynasties
    and races, it is easy to realize the further consequences.
    Languages are the digestive tracts for thoughts, to be
    processed in well for an effective and interactive exchange of
    ideas. There is no problem until when you feel a complex
    change in attitude. This may be due to many reasons. It
    might be due to reasons. It might be due to external or
    internal incitement. But this bitter attitude carves a way for
    the so-called term “Linguistic Chauvinism.
    Our language is our identity. Language binds the nation (the
    people) or it draws a line of demarcation between them. It is
    a convenient way of communicating with one another.
    Nowadays people do not show due respect to their mother
    tongue especially because of the influence of westernization.
    It is rightly said, "when something is close to us, we take it for
    granted but when it is snatched away from us then we realize
    its worth & we are left with nothing but repentance." For
    centuries outsiders have tried to invade other countries & in
    doing so they have found that the best way of manipulating
    native people's minds against their own country is to take
    away their strongest weapon "their mother tongue. Be it the
    Germans imposing the German language on the French after
    the Prussian war or Indians' Hindi language being chained in
    shackles by the British, it has always been "language" bearing
    the bitter repercussions. People become oblivious to their
    language & eventually lose nationalism. Chauvinism dwells in
    the hearts of people who are passionately in love with their
    own language, but they disrespect other foreign languages.
    Thus, they oppress others with their language over others. To
    become a true nation lover, every individual needs to hold
    immense respect for his /her language but to create a
    harmonious world; everyone should embrace all the
    languages with a warm heart. Every word, every thought,
    every expression needs nothing but a LANGUAGE. LOVE,
    RESPECT & SPREAD ALL THE LANGUAGES WORLDWIDE.
