Shapes
Curve tool:Used to draw curve .
Steps:
Click Curve tool Shapes group Home tab.
Move mouse pointer Drawing area
Left click drag the mouse draw a line
Choose color colors palette Home tab.
Polygon tool: To use to draw polygons. Polygons are shapes with three or more sides
Steps :
Click polygon tool Shapes group Home tab.
Move mouse pointer Drawing area
Choose color colors palette Home tab.
Left click drag the mouse draw the first side of the polygon.
Start drawing repeat last side double click the left mouse button
Rounded Rectangle Tool:Used to draw rectangles with rounded corners .
Steps :Click Rounded rectangle tool Shapes group Home tab
Select line color Color palette .
Move mouse pointer drawing area
How to fill colors
using the colours group fill with color tool colour picker tool

Closed figure Open figure

Any figure that is closed from all the site Any figure that is open from any site or has a gap
without any gap is called a closed figure is called an open figure

How to fill colors


Using colors group
New color chosen using Edit colors options are added to the default 20 colors palette.
Colors group has two color boxes.
1. Color 1 foreground color 2. Color 2 background color
Color 1
Left click selected a colors colors group.
Color 2
Click Color 1 Select the color
Click Color 2 select another color
Select shapes Shapes group
Click and drag the mouse draw outline program colour fill the shape with the
background color .
Color picker tool
To pick a colour from one part of the drawing and fill the same color in another part of the drawing .
Brushes :Used to draw lines that have a different appearance and texture .

Select:To copy or more using the select tool in image group Home tab
Two kinds of selection

 using the rectangular selection


 using the free form selection
Eraser tool: Used for erase any part of the drawing .
Magnifier tool:To see a part of a drawing more closely .
Undo To reverse the last action
Redo To repeat the last action
Shortcut keys
1. ctrl+ A select all 2. ctrl + Z undo 3. ctrl + Y redo
