3.1.2 Touch-Up: Sa 2.5 (SSPC-SP10) St 2 (SSPC-SP2) for areas less than 0.1 m²

Maintenance Coating: Exposed Steel: Sa 2.5 (SSPC-SP10) for areas greater than 0.1 m²

Profile: 65 - 100 microns, min. – max.

Dry Film Thickness Requirements

4.1 Each Coat
For use as maintenance coating

Priming: All clean blasted surfaces shall be primed with a primer grade of the product used. The primer
shall wet out all blasted surfaces immediately after blasting.

Filling: Pits and worn out sections shall be built up using the filler grade of the product used or any
approved compatible filler.
Build main Coats: One or more coats of the product used 500-1000 microns, minimum-maximum.

Topcoat (for smoothness & non-stick): One coat 250 – 300 microns, minimum-maximum.

For new Pumps and Valves and Piping Use the build main coat with top coat with total coating film thickness between 750 – 1500
microns.
