The aim for this field study is observing how the class behave, honing their knowledge or
facilitating concepts, and understanding the needs of the child. In addition, observing how physical
environment contributing to the child’s learning is it conducive or not and that must engage and
comfortable. And what are the teaching strategies, instructional material, and reinforcement used.
Through Field study 1, it helps me to grow by observing to have an ideas and concepts on
handling learners their behaviors, nurturing, and ensuring the growth of leaners is improving in gradual
way. It is a step to reflect myself in a situation I can apply my learnings in developing a child’s in physical,
emotional, mental, and spiritual. And I see so many strategies in teaching, implementing of plans,
classroom setting arranged, and instructional material used either audio or visual. And creating a
conducive which is inclusive for all and a child friendly zone.
Therefore, all I see and observe I realized all those teaching procedures strategies is really
effective. Which how I apply it in class, what assessment tools I’ve implement either traditional or
authentic assessment to be used. And I reflect that teacher have a great duty in molding for future a
well-rounded person and have a time management and flexibility in planning, organizing teaching
procedures of what to teach and what they learn.

This field study 2 or participation and assistantship, teachers has an important role in the society
to nurtured a child, it says Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old
he will not depart from it. It has a goal is how I cooperate with my resource teacher by giving assistance
in discussing, giving activities, and preparing what materials needed. It is an experiential support for to
learned how to handle my class and teaching with the guide of my resource teacher.
During in field, I’ve experience in handling class by discussing, giving activities and makes class
interactive. The teachers give me tips and advices in implementing classroom management plan,
handling problems inside the classroom. And also reaching out to the parents to make learning of the
child improve and giving support, it is also strengthening the relationship between the school, home,
and environment. I reflect that creating positive conducive environment, for learners will be like to
study, in learning, and participating in class, and I realized as a teacher I must know the diverse learners
their characteristics, culture, and religion in order for me to know what are their strength and
weaknesses.
To wrap up, I reflect with participating with my resource teacher it can contribute my
development as a future teacher and this field study is giving me opportunity to acquire new knowledge
and wisdom and qualities must I possess for my future teaching profession and journey. The phrase
“two heads are better than one”, teaches me as an observer and teachers assistant the beauty of
teamwork. It encourages me to ask for others guidance if I need help for a certain problem to make it
easier. As a teacher’s assistant, I then noticed a lot of things. I learned that a teacher should be humble
and considerate on others opinion for him/her to motivate his/her learners.

FS1 REFLECTION
These past few weeks, during my observation in Field Study 1, I have truly witnessed the
meaning of this saying. I've noticed that the learners' learning abilities appear to be lagging as a result of
the COVID-19 pandemic. My first hypothesis was that it happens because there is no guidance and
assistance from the teacher in their new learning environment. Although there are learning modules,
they cannot replace the face-to-face lessons with the teacher. It can be proved through their
performance output that they become better each day when they are with their teacher.
I thought that my observation would end here. However, it doesn't, and I have discovered that it
is not only the presence of knowledge that they need. They also need the love and care that they can
only find from their peers, teachers, and friends, which they can only experience inside the school.
These factors are what make the environment conducive to learning. Authentic learning does not only
thrive in a knowledge-rich environment; it also needs the warmth and light of love in order to grow.

At first, I thought that this quote was silly, until I experienced Field Study 2 by assisting a real
teacher on the field. I have experience with a job that no other profession can do, and that is the job of a
teacher. Other professions, such as doctors, focus on a person's physical well-being, whereas the work
of a teacher reaches out to someone's soul. Doing this kind of job is nearly impossible, but as I have
observed, this is done as a daily routine by my resource teacher. He wakes up early to make the
classroom conducive for learning. During the day, he pours out his soul into teaching, and by the end of
the day, he has strategized his next lesson for tomorrow.
It doesn’t count on the reports and administrative tasks that he needed to accomplish between
jobs. Therefore, it is just to say that the teachers are the real heroes. Their profession may be
undervalued by society, but to me, who has witnessed their hardships, they are the true supermen and
wonder women who walk the earth's surface.

A teacher does more than just teach; she or he shapes students and assists them in becoming
the best versions of themselves. One of our aims as teachers is to help our students develop their
characters, behaviors, and perspectives in life. We help them discover and appreciate the true substance
of life. As I was observing the teachers during my observation deployment journey, I noticed that the
teachers do not just focus on developing the cognitive skills of the child but also look for the
development of their behaviors and social skills. Teachers encourage the learners to participate and
communicate with the environment to be able them to be prepared for a real-life situation.
Learners are diverse, they have different abilities, cultures, and beliefs, and as a future teacher, I
will use different unique strategies in dealing with diverse students, ensuring that everyone may learn
appropriately and obtain the knowledge they all deserve through my own teaching strategies. I, as a
teacher, should utilize child-centered approaches that allow learners to do and engage actively in school
or in society in order for them to learn and acquire information.
FS2 REFLECTION
These past few years have brought everyone’s life in a difficult situation due to the COVID-19
pandemic, it really affects our lives financially, emotionally, and physically, most especially the learners
learning progress. As I assist my resource teacher, I observe that a lot of pupils can’t read fluently and
can’t understand the words they are reading because even their comprehension skills were also affected
by the cause of the pandemic. I think that modular learning was not really effective in the learning
development of the child because I personally believed that they can’t focus on studying their lesson
because their time was divided by household chores and other personal matters. So as a teacher we
must look for perfect strategies on how we can cope with the learning development of our pupils, and
ensure that we could enhance their skills and learning.
The most typical challenges of learning in class are reading, writing, and understanding. As a
future teacher, I will ensure that I focus on the fundamental learning of the child so that they can
address a variety of critical situations. The child will be able to improve their prior skills in dealing with
reality by learning or teaching fundamental skills. It is very important that we teachers should introduce
basic learning, especially nowadays because it seems that we are back from the beginning because of
the pandemic. Even in the higher grades some of them lack of reading and comprehension skills because
of the impact of COVID-19. And to be able to solve this problem, the teacher must do various strategies
in coping with this issue, the teacher can do remedial classes or one-on-one tutoring for those students
who are slow in fundamental learning.

Field Study 1 attempts to foster and grow the desirable students, it focuses to the learners, and the
environment where they honed. The shift in educational policy that has a direct impact on and effects on
the development of the learner is best understood in depth by way of examination of how it affects the
learner. Main objective is to observe the students, the school, and the neighborhood. We are supposed
to take note of the school and classroom amenities, as well as the organizational structure of the school,
as this is the first exposure the student teachers have had to the educational setting.
As I study the school's organizational structure, its classrooms, its facilities, its faculty, its parents, and its
pupils, I see that it provides chances and prospects for professional development.
In fact, Field Study 1 was an excellent method for me to start my fieldwork adventure! My
understanding of how various learners have various characteristics, behaviors, needs, and
developmental stages has improved. It also helped me comprehend how the classroom environment
affects students' capacity for learning. Overall, I learned that the teacher is responsible for each
student's improvement and for creating the best learning environment possible.
In this Field Study book, we can expect to learn new things and have new experiences, bring us to the
truths of what it really means to be a teacher and what teaching is all about. It will offer practical
reinforcement for our previously finished Field Study 1 and foundational professional education courses.
This training will direct us toward being excellent teachers in the proper way. I am aware of the
tremendous amount of work instructors put in to ensure that students receive a quality education and
to uphold a secure and encouraging learning environment. All contacts with students and teachers must
be conducted in a professional manner.
The relevance of the teaching-learning process, in which both the teacher and the students play
important roles, is demonstrated in Field Study 2. Teachers use many methods and approaches to teach
their students and transfer knowledge to them. In order for me to be prepared and empowered as a
teacher, I must research and understand about what a field study book is all about and how it will supply
us with knowledge and learning. I want to transform my future students and myself as a teacher from
weakness to strength, negativity to positivity, self-pity to self-confidence, and non-essentialist to
essentialist. By doing this, I can say that I am a truly professional and globally competitive individual.
