Performance Task 1
Observing the teaching-learning process in Flexible Learning and different Distance
Learning Deliver Modes (online, radio-based instruction, television-based instruction, and other
modalities) focusing on the development of the MELCs and reflecting on these processes.
Based on the Pre-observation conference with your Cooperating, complete the matrix based on
your scheduled classes of observation. The observation may be done face-to-face or through different
Distance Learning (online, radio-based instruction, television-based instruction, and other modalities).
Take note that your focus of observation is based on the results of your pre-conference with your
Cooperating Teacher. Make sure that you also need to focus on the development of the MELCs and
reflecting on the different processes.

WRITING MY REFLECTION

After observing the classes of your Cooperating Teacher whether in face-to-face or in distance
learning delivery mode, what aspects in the instructional cycle, do you think you are now capable of
doing and the areas you still need to improve on?

I am now capable of establishing learning objectives for the lessons as it is the first and
main thing you need to do in teaching. This serves as the starting point for you in planning for
the lessons, techniques and the overall aspects. It serves as the guide on what should we take
and do for the instruction as the alignment of the learning and the evaluation. However, I am
still on the process of improving the learning opportunities that I need to provide because this
is the body of the instruction. This is a crucial part as it includes the lesson proper, techniques,
methods, strategies and other things in order for the students to learn. There are various things
that I need to try and work on in order to be the best in this field.
