1st dialogue

Reservation : hello, good morning, how can I help you?


Caller : well, I have some time off from work next month and I was thinking of going to
Australia.
Reservation : that sounds great. How long is your vacation?
Caller : just one week. My last day at work is 26th of July and I go back on the 5th
August
Reservation : ok, here’s our Sydney brochure. Have a look and see if there’s a hotel that you
like.
Caller : oh, this one is good. The four season hotel. It’s expensive but I’ve been told it’s
very nice
Reservation : yes, it’s a very high class hotel. I’m sure you will enjoy your stay there. Would
you like me to make the booking now, sir?
Caller : yes, I reserve the four season hotel, please.
Reservation : I just need to take some personal information. What’s your full name?
Caller : Marden Andrew White
Reservation : and your address?
Caller : 11 Sony Terracon Klongsan, Bangkok
Reservation : and your telephone number?

Reservation : do you have a daytime number I can call if necessary?

next day?
Caller : yes, please. And the return flight on Saturday the 3rd of August
Reservation : there’s a seat available on the Quartet Airway Flight but there’s a 3 hour
stopover in Singapore
Caller : is there a direct flight that I can take?
Reservation : yes, Malaysian Airways. That flight departs at 7 o’clock on Saturday morning
and arrives at Sydney at 06.30 pm local time
Caller : that sounds better but it’s a little longer that I thought
Reservation : well, it’s an eight hour long flight. Don’t forget the time difference. All the time
given is local times
Caller ; oh, yes, that’s right. They’re 3 hours ahead, aren’t they? Can I have the details
of the return flight?
Reservation : certainly. That flight departs at 6 pm and arrives in Bangkok at 11.15 on that
same night. Shall I reserve a seat for you?
2nd dialogue

Receptionist : Good Afternoon, Gunadarma Company, how may I help you?


Ibrahim : Yes, I would like to speak to Mr. Adi Rahmanto, please.
Receptionist : I'm sorry, Mr. Adi Rahmanto, is out of the office at the moment
Ibrahim : Do you know when to expect him?
Receptionist : he should be back about 3:00 p.m. would you like to leave a message?
Ibrahim : Yes. My name is Ibrahim Ahmad
Receptionist : Is that A-H-M-A-D?
Ibrahim : Yes
Receptionist : Okay, and May I tell him what this is in regards to?
Ibrahim : about the new product development.
Receptionist : okay. How can he reach you, Mr. Ibrahim?
Ibrahim : At 833-2124.
Receptionist : 833-2124. I will give him the message as soon as he returns.
Ibrahim : Thank you very much.

3rd dialogue

Receptionist : Hello, This is Shogun Restaurant, may I help you?


Mr. Foster : Hello, I would like to make a dinner reservation.
Receptionist : Of course, what evening will you be joining us on?
Mr. Foster : We will need the reservation for Tuesday night.
Receptionist : What time would you like the reservation for?
Mr. Foster : We would prefer 7:00 or 7:30.
Receptionist : How many people will you need the reservation for?
Mr. Foster : There will be 4 of us.
Receptionist : Fine, I can seat you at 7:00 on Tuesday, if you would kindly give me your
name.
Mr. Foster : Thank you. The last name is Foster.
Receptionist : See you at 7:00 this Tuesday, Mr. Foster.
Mr. Foster : Thank you so much. I appreciate your help.
4th dialogue

Reservation : Good Morning, Edotel Hotel, This is Reservation, May I help you?
Mr. Hariyanto : Good Morning I would like to reserve a room.
Reservation : Yes Sir, May I know what type of room would you like, and for how many
people, Sir?
Mr. Hariyanto : I like one suite room, just for me.
Reservation : May I know what date you will be arriving?
Mr. Hariyanto : I will be arriving on 19th of June 2011
Reservation : how about you will be departing?
Mr. Hariyanto : 22nd of June 2011
Reservation : Alright Sir, May I know about your name, Sir?

May I explain you about room facilities and hotel facilities?
Mr. Hariyanto : Yes Please
Reservation : In our hotel you will get tempering room number 1. The room facilities such
as privet balcony, living room, small kitchen, mini bar, wardrobe, television,
telephone, air conditioner, bath room complete with shower, bath tub and
wash basin complete with hot and cold running water. And hotel facilities
such as boga sari restaurant, meeting room, sport area, parking area,
laundry, and beauty salon and spa. Well, the room rate is Rp 350.000,00 net
include breakfast. Would you like to take it, Sir?
Mr. Hariyanto : Yes I will take it
Reservation : May I know how about your deposit, Sir? Because it is a high season,
so you need to pay the deposit of room.
