ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

PURPOSE
The purpose of the assignment is to help students explore the different types of living skill
lesson taught to special needs children. Students will also learn how to conduct a scientific
research using observation and data analysis.

REQUIREMENT
Sewing is an activity that promotes independence for most children with learning disabilities.
*Sewing skills help children to progress in their personal and physical development. Special
education teachers need to provide teaching and learning material for sewing which are
appropriate for children’s ability level. Teaching and learning sewing skills will ensure that
the children with learning disabilities use their sewing skills for daily living.

This assignment must cover the following aspects:


1. Discuss the benefits of learning to sew and the importance of children with learning
disabilities to enjoy simple sewing experiences. This assignment must end with a
suitable conclusion and supported by current THREE current academic references.

2. Prepare ONE complete daily lesson to teach a plan (DLP) class of children with Learning
disabilities to sew ONE simple material which is related to the child.

You need to prepare ONE complete set of instructions. You must use an appropriate DLP
format. The DLP must contain clear objective as well as detailed teaching steps. Your teaching
steps must reflect the appropriate allocation of time for each step. Instructions on how to
sew material should be in the form of pictures to be attach in the assignment.
*They can learn how to sew using simple materials which is related to the children.

SOALAN TUGASAN

TUJUAN
Tujuan tugasan adalah untuk membantu pelajar meneroka pelbagai jenis pelajaran
kemahiran hidup yang diajar kepada kanak-kanak berkeperluan khas. Pelajar juga akan belajar
bagaimana untuk menjalankan penyelidikan saintifik menggunakan kaedah pemerhatian dan
analisis data.

KEPERLUAN
Menjahit adalah aktiviti yang menggalakkan sifat berdikari bagi kebanyakan kanak-kanak
Masalah Pembelajaran. Mereka boleh mempelajari bagaimana untuk menjahit bahan mudah
yang berkaitan dengan diri kanak-kanak itu sendiri. Kemahiran menjahit juga membantu
perkembangan personal dan fizikal kanak-kanak. Guru Pendidikan Khas perlu menyediakan
bahan pengajaran dan pembelajaran menjahit yang sesuai dengan tahap keupayaan kanak-
kanak. Pengajaran dan pembelajaran kemahiran menjahit yang ‘authentic’ dapat menjamin
kanak-kanak Masalah Pembelajaran menggunakan kemahiran menjahit mereka dalam
kehidupan seharian.

Tugasan ini perlu merangkumi aspek berikut:


1. Membincangkan faedah belajar menjahit dan kepentingan kanak-kanak Masalah
Pembelajaran menikmati pengalaman menjahit yang mudah. Tugasan ini hendaklah
berakhir dengan kesimpulan yang sesuai dan disokong dengan TIGA rujukan ilmiah
yang terkini.
2. Menyediakan SATU rancangan pembelajaran harian (RPH) yang lengkap untuk
mengajar kelas kanak-kanak Masalah Pembelajaran untuk menjahit SATU bahan
mudah yang berkaitan dengan diri kanak-kanak itu sendiri.

Anda perlu menyediakan SATU set langkah-langkah yang lengkap. Anda mesti menggunakan
format RPH yang sesuai. RPH tersebut hendaklah mengandungi objektif yang jelas dan

langkah-langkah pengajaran yang terperinci. Langkah pengajaran anda hendaklah
mengandungi peruntukan masa yang sesuai untuk setiap langkah. Penerangan bagaimana
menjahit bahan mudah, dalam bentuk gambar juga perlu dilampirkan.
