    1 SITU BAGENDIT Once upon the time in Pasundan land, Garut west java, these lived the young rich widow. She lived in very beautiful large house, in the village, near river Situ Patenggang. This young widow lived friend, at all you know why? Because she was a miser. She never helped other poor people in her village, so people in her village named her Situ Begendid. Its means a wealth miser, and you know what she did? She mocked and scorned other people who came to her house for helped what happened then? One day an old man came to her house, she wanted to get some water from Bagendit well. When he was trying to get a pail of water, Bagendit came out of her house and hit the old man with a Ponder; she beat up the man cruelly many times. Than something Amazing happened, the old man get staidly, he got closer to Bafendit and point to his came to her face Let God Curse You Women, for you evil and ruthless rebuts, the man sharply! Do you know what happen after that? Suddenly the water fiaded over the village, Begendit and her beautiful house drowned in the water. The village disappeared and nothing was left, there was only a wide and deep lake and people called it Situ Bafendit. Thats mean the lake of Bagendit.
