    APLEY S SCRATCH TEST

    PURPOSE To assess shoulder ROM & instability

    OUTCOME Test to be done Pain elicited in rotator comparatively on both cuff or unable to the sides touch opposite shoulder indicates a) Reach behind back as if to scratch low rotator cuff pathology
    back and reach for opposite scapula (adduction and internal rotation) b) Reach over shoulders to "scratch" between scapulae. (abduction and internal rotation)
