Laminated glass

The laminated glass is used in the music room because of its better sound insulator than monolithic
glass like tempered or annealed. Laminated glass has a thin layer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB)
sandwiched between two panes of glass to form the outer pane that helps to reduce the vibration sound
creates. PVB provides excellent acoustic performance by dampening soundwaves.
The impact of laminated glass for dampening unwanted sounds and vibrations, one 6.5 mm sheet of
laminated can yield 32 decibels of noise reduction at an average frequency level of 400 Hz.

Acoustic fabric
An acoustic fabric allows sound waves to pass through without any interference, neither reflecting or
absorbing.
Acoustic fabric wrapped panels are a perfect solution for sound and echo absorption for just about any
interior space like music room instead the fabric allowing sound to bounce it embraces the sounds,
and it has high performance in noise and reverberation reduction that helps to produce good sound
quality for the music.

ACOUSTIC PAINT

Acoustic paint contains some specially made soundproofing fillers which increase a lot the paint's noise
absorbing properties and it reduces sound transmission through walls and ceilings.

A typical acoustic paint can reduce the transmission of sound through the walls and ceiling by 2-4
decibels per coat. Since the standard application is 3 coats of paint for each wall, the total amount of
sound reduction can reach between 6-12 decibels.

ACOUSTIC CAULK
- Acoustical Caulk is used to seal gaps on perimeter of sound control walls/floors/ceilings. Acoustic
caulk adheres tightly wherever you apply it and does not move or change shape once applied. While it
may not prevent all sound from getting through, it is a very cost-effective way to reduce sound.

HARDIFLEX - CEMENT BOARD

Cement boards are dense, making them suitable for insulating airborne and impact noises. Since
cement boards are heavy, they make it hard for sound to move through them. For this reason, cement
boards are excellent for soundproofing
