Evoked Potentials Visual Evoked Potential - Pattern Reversal

The visual evoked potential (VEP) test results for Patient Nicolas were normal. Pattern reversal stimulation of both eyes individually elicited cortical occipital potentials (P100) within normal latency ranges. The interocular latency difference and amplitude ratio were also normal. The conclusion was that this was a normal pattern reversal VEP study.

VISUAL EVOKED POTENTIAL - PATTERN REVERSAL

FINDINGS:

Pattern Reversal stimulation of the left eye field using check size 32" with active recording
electrodes at Oz and at 5cm to each side of Oz evoked a cortical occipital potential (P100) with a
latency of 103ms and amplitude of 13.5uV. Stimulation of the right eye field likewise evoked a
P100 with a latency of 104ms at 13.8uV. Both P100 latencies are within normal limits.
Interocular latency difference is not significant. Amplitude ratio is normal.

CONCLUSION:

This is a normal Pattern Reversal (VEP) study.
