Abstract
DOUBLE SPACE
This study used experimental approach to determine the effectiveness of lemon
(Citrus limon) as oil dispersant. The study focused on the effect of different concentrations
of lemon extract on oil. The research design used in the study was the complete
randomized design. The observation was only focused on the mean height of the remaining
oil for each treatment after one hour. The treatments were: 20 ml lemon extract (Treatment
NO commercial dispersant) having mean height of 1.93 cm. Inferential analysis used was one

way analysis of variance (ANOVA) set at .05 alpha level using SPSS 19. It came out that

treatments. The study revealed that the treatment that was most effective was Treatment D
(20 ml commercial dispersant) having mean weight of 1.93 cm, wherein treatment C (40
ml lemon extract) was the most effective alternative to the control with a mean height 2.40
cm. The principle governed in this study is that, the lesser the mean height of remaining
