    of only 35 to 40 years, when they should be standing strong for 70 years or more. This is due to
    inadequate adherence to codal standards during construction, as well as insufficient maintenance
    practices. If we don't take the necessary actions now, our country will suffer significant financial,
    life, and environmental losses in the future.

    But don't worry, there is a solution! As a young and enthusiastic civil engineering student, you
    have the opportunity to play a crucial role in making these assets sustainable and safe to use.
    Through an internship with Cyond, you can learn how built assets respond to environmental
    effects and gain the skills to identify and fix potential issues at both the design and maintenance
    stages.
