-briefly discuss the background of the study guided by deductive method

-discussed how the issue evolved and developed

-discuss how this problem affects your current situation, the community and the school

2. Why did you choice this topic/title?

-present researches and other studies that would support your claim as to why there is a
need to conduct the study

-provide relevant reasons to convince the panel there is a need to conduct the study

3. How will your study contribute to the existing body of knowledge?

HOW TO ANSWER?

-discuss the benefits of your study

-discuss how your study differs from other studies presented

-discuss how beneficial is your study to your participants

4. What theories or concept did you use to your study?

HOW TO ANSWER?

-choice, read and understand a theory that will support your entire study by mentioning the
author, what is the theory about and the idea behind it

5. What research variables did you used?

-discuss and mentioned the relatedness of the independent and dependent variable in your
study

-discuss the definition of independent variable and dependent variable


6. Did you bridge any gap of your study?

Research gap is a research question or problem which has not been answered
appropriately in any field of research.

HOW TO ANSWER?

-convince the panel that this research gap has not really been answered and if you will
pursue your study you will be able to answer this research question.

-read a published article related to your study and look for the research gap within it

-look in the websites for sample researches and make this one as your guide in looking for a
research gap
