With each passing year, the number of students

taking part in this management fest is on the rise
which just means more fun and more energy all
around.

With this in mind, we strongly urge you to make

this fest a place where students from all walks
of life can come together and unleash their
creative minds.

India comprises a wide array of cultures and

traditions.
Influenced by the diverse colors of India, we have
decided to set out on a voyage to witness the
melange, and this time we are going to be

ABOUT XAVIER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), one
of the top-ranking B-Schools in India was founded by a group of
distinguished academicians and professionals led by Prof.J.Philip,
former Director of IIM Bangalore and former Dean of XLRI,
Jamshedpur.

The Kochi campus started its journey of excellence in the year

2013, offering a PGDM program with a specialization in Finance,

Our mission is to organize a premier management fest
that brings together students, academicians, industry
leaders, and other stakeholders to engage in thought-
provoking discussions, participate in challenging
competitions, and gain insights into the latest trends and
developments in the world of business and management.
We aim to provide a dynamic and inclusive environment
that encourages creativity, collaboration, and lifelong
learning and inspires the next generation of leaders to
make a positive impact on society and the global
economy.

To create a platform for aspiring managers to showcase
their skills and abilities, foster learning and networking
opportunities, and promote a culture of excellence and
innovation in the field of management.

 ABOUT THE FEST - QUEST

The previous & latest Quest that took place, saw a significant
number of participants from various institutes from Southern
India. It was a huge success because of the effort and
commitment of each one of our students. And with that, we
gladly bring the following XIME Kochi fest – QUEST ‘23 with all
our excitement and passion.

India is home to a diverse range of cultures and traditions, along

with a sizable population that upholds them. Since XIME, Kochi
has students from across India, our college has a touch of
various colours of cultures. We have made the decision to
embark on a journey to observe the fusion after being inspired
by these varied colours of India. And we will surely be Bigger,
Better, and Stronger this time.

On the 24th and 25th of March, 2023, we are coming back with
QUEST, which represents the act or instance of seeking an
exciting adventure. The fest theme is CARNIVAL. We have
events planned in various professional & cultural aspects!
Students from different parts of the country are anticipated to
attend the event, with the Goal of the Fest being to bring
together students around the nation to compete. With this
involvement, it now promises to be bigger and better. The goal
of QUEST is to forge bonds between students from various
colleges and to assess their knowledge and expertise in many
subjects. The number of students participating in this annual
event is growing with each passing year, resulting in increased
joy and vigour everywhere. As a result, we aim to make this
festival a place of gathering for students from all backgrounds
to engage in creative expression!

General Guidelines
1. Participants are requested to bring their College Identity
Cards
2. Participants & other college students are expected to
maintain discipline throughout the fest
3. Participants are requested to adhere to a decent dress code
4. Usage of mobile phones during events is strictly prohibited
unless asked to.
5. Participants & students must refrain from Consumption or
Usage of Alcohol, Cigarettes, and other substances on campus
6. Participants must wear ID Cards provided by XIME at all
times on campus.
7. Accommodation at the college will be charged at Rs.
300/head for those willing to stay. This is inclusive of breakfast
on day 2.
8. One participant can only take part in only one management
event

Overall Championship Trophy

As the fest offers an Overall Championship Trophy, the
following will be the criteria:
• Footfall number per college
• Winning Events
• Obtaining the Second position
• Obtaining the Third position
• Social Media Promotions, with XIME Kochi & Quest 2023 tag

Be simple as a circle, worthless as a boss; but when I
follow a group, their strength increases tenfold. I am
practically nothing, who am I? Having the passion for
business and the mindset of a leader is one thing, but do
you think you have what it takes to be the Best Manager?

GUIDELINES:
This is an Individual Event.
5 rounds - Day 1: 3 rounds
Day 2: 2 rounds
(Qualifying participants must come prepared to stay
overnight on campus)
Personal Laptops must be brought by Participants
Participants are to be in formal attire throughout the
event
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no
change in decisions.

The Carousel Adepts (Operations)
No matter how good the team or how efficient the
methodology is, if we are not solving the right problem, the
project fails. If you know what it takes to make it efficient,
then this is your chance!

GUIDELINES:
Teams must consist of 3 participants from the same
institution.
4 rounds - Day 1: 3 rounds (Elimination: After Each Round)
Day 2: 1 round
(Qualifying teams must come prepared to stay overnight on
campus)
Personal Laptops must be brought by Participants, as
rounds will require laptops.
Teams found using the internet other than when required,
will be disqualified.
For the last round, participants are expected to be in
sportswear.
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no change
in decisions

Tomorrowland (Human Resources)
The role of an HR is not limited to only recruiting and
selecting people, it is more than that. So, are you ready to
remove that taboo and show us what HR means?

GUIDELINES:
Teams must consist of 4 participants from the same
institution. For Round 2, the team will be further divided
into two pairs
5 rounds - Day 1: 3 rounds
Day 2: 2 rounds
(Qualifying teams must come prepared to stay overnight on
campus)
Participants are expected to be in Formal wear
Personal Laptops, Notebooks & Pens must be brought by
Participants
Mobile phones are not permitted throughout the event,
unless the round requires access, with the guidance of
the volunteers. If found using otherwise, the group will be
disqualified.
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no
change in decisions

institution.

If the auction is not done by Day 1 then it will spill over
to Day 2
(In that case, Qualifying teams must come prepared to stay
overnight on campus)
Elimination: Round 1

Teams may not access the internet during the
competition. If found using, the group will be disqualified.

Foot Fiesta (Football)
A pass here, a goal there. Catch your breath because you
have a few, Don't let the goal out of your sight.

GUIDELINES:
Teams must consist of 5 participants from the same
institution, 1 Goalkeeper & 4 outfield players. The
minimum number of players allowed is 5 and the
Maximum is 7. Rolling substitution is allowed. Players in a
team should be of the same institution and each player
must carry their College Identity Card.
Matches will be for a duration of 20 minutes & there is a
possibility for spilling to Day 2, depending upon the
timings allotted by the sports committee
Football kits are to be brought by participants. Studs
are mandatory.
Referees’ decisions will be final.

GUIDELINES:
This is an Individual Event
Day 1: Physical offline recording on campus, Day 2:
Online Submission
Participants must show the timeline of their edited video
in the software used to create the reel, as part of the
submission
Duration: 30 to 60 seconds. The content must be
original
Violation of rules or submission of inappropriate content
will result in immediate disqualification.
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no
change in decisions.

GUIDELINES:
Teams must consist of 6 to 8 participants from the
same institution. 2 female participants in each team are
a must. One Team per Institution
Dance Style: Freestyle – Bollywood & Classical (Both the
styles must be performed)
Brownie points for the usage of props. (Should be
brought by the participants)
The audio track must be submitted a day prior to the
event, in the drive link provided and in a pen drive on the
day of the performance

from the same institution. Only one team per institution.
This will be a Duet performance & only one instrument is
allowed per team.
Time limit: 3 - 5 minutes
No restriction on the language of the song
Brownie points for teams that perform with
instruments.
Teams can perform with Karaoke tracks which must be
submitted a day prior to the event, in the drive link
provided
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no

your skills.

Theme: Street style + Bollywood

GUIDELINES:
Teams must consist of a minimum of 6 & maximum of 8
participants from the same institution.
2 rounds on maximum. The time limit for Round 1: 5 - 7
minutes
Costumes, Make-Up, Track for the walk, Props & all
necessities must be brought by Participants.
Green rooms will be provided.
The audio track must be submitted a day prior to the
event, in the drive link provided and in a pen drive on the
day of the performance
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no
change in decisions.
