NOTE: For FIN 22TX and FIN 24TX, the airline will reload previously installed
software.
NOTE: If the Portable Data Loader (PDL) has the digital signature check, the PDL can
send two messages:
- One if the PDL detects that the software is not signed (refer to PDL user
guide). You can ignore this message. It has no effect on the aircraft
software uploading
- One if the PDL detects an incorrect or corrupted signature (refer to PDL
user guide). Then the software uploading will not be possible and it will
be necessary to use a different software.
For data security reasons, Airbus recommends the user to send a report of the
fault to the aircraft-security focal point.
NOTE: The ATSU include several software (S/W) components. Their uploading will
need to be done in the following order:
- S/W-ATSU A/C INTERFACE software component (FIN 20TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU CONFIGURATION software component (FIN 21TXSW1)

Procedure
- S/W-ATSU ROUTER PARAM software component (FIN 30TXSW1).

- S/W-ATSU ISM APPLICATION software component (FIN 31TXSW1).

to be followed.

software uploading
- One if the PDL detects an incorrect or corrupted signature (refer to PDL
user guide). Then the software uploading will not be possible and it will
be necessary to use a different software.
For data security reasons, Airbus recommends the user to send a report of the
fault to the aircraft-security focal point.
NOTE: The ATSU include several software (S/W) components. Their uploading will
need to be done in the following order:
- S/W-ATSU A/C INTERFACE software component (FIN 20TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU CONFIGURATION software component (FIN 21TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU ROUTER PARAM software component (FIN 30TXSW1).
And if installed:
- S/W-ATSU HMI ATC UTILITIES software component (FIN 25TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU ATC FANS APPLICATIONS software component (FIN 39TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU CMA CONFIGURATION software component (FIN 37TXSW1)
- S/W-ATSU ISM APPLICATION software component (FIN 31TXSW1).
According to the ATSU configuration some of these components may not be
present. If several S/W need to be uploaded the order given above will need
to be followed.
NOTE: Refer to the logic diagram to upload the ATSU software, refer to Ref. Appendix
LOGIC DIAGRAM TO UPLOAD THE ATSU SOFTWARE, sheet 01 and sheet 02.
NOTE: The software check described below must be done between the
PN shown on the MCDU (LRU IDENTIFICATION page and AOC MENU
page) and the PN written on the software media. If you do the
check between the PN shown on the PDL and the PN written on the
software media (or on the MCDU), it is possible that these PNs are
different.
