Objective
To get an understanding of how you analyze our brand opportunities in the gold shops. The topic
will be the cubic zirconia ("CZ") gold jewelry landscape in your area. Cubic Zirconia jewelry is
defined as gold jewelry with zircon stone. You can get a more detailed definition of CZ through
the search engine.

3. Desired Output
Submit your result in Microsoft Powerpoint which contains below elements:
a. Overview of CZ Jewelry Landscape.
The overview should include 5Ps marketing mix aspects of the top 3 players. Feel free to
use quantitative analysis (develop your own scoring/ranking criteria) and/or qualitative
analysis to determine the top 3 players among categories and determine the rank based on
your analysis considering each marketing mix assessment.

5Ps Marketing Mix :


- Product : What products do they offer?
- Price : How much do the products cost? Are there any discounts?
- Place : How is the store? How is the display of the products?
- Promotion : How do they promote the products? (catalog, flyer or etc)
- People : How do they interact with the customers?

You can find the engraved logo inside the jewelry in the store to differentiate which products
belong to which player :
• UBS Gold : Engraved Diamond logo of UBS (kindly search in Google : Untung
Bersama Sejahtera)
• Ayu Gold : Engraved writing "AYU"
• De Gold : Engraved writing "AMERO" or "IT"
• YT Utama Putra : Engraved logo of "YT" or writing "YT" (kindly search in google for
its logo) or their latest collection "Dancing with Igun"
• Hala Gold : Engraved logo "Hala"
• Sandra Dewi Gold : Engraved logo "SDW Gold"
• Lotus : Engraved "L" logo (kindly refer its logo from Instagram account llpgold) or
Lotus' latest collection with engraved "Aurora"

b. What's the strength and what can be improved of each player's execution in each store.

c. Feel free to add other assessments of each player during your fieldwork observation such as
the most selling line up, the latest and the future trend prediction, co-marketing program, in-
store campaign, execution photo, etc.
