• A tracking shot is any shot that physically moves the camera through the
scene for an extended amount of time.
• Tracking camera movement often follows a traveling subject, though they can
be used to simply show off the scene.
• A crane shot is similar to boom shot except a movie crane has a much larger
field of view and its pivot arm can extend out as well as rotate.
• A crane can also travel on tracks and can be pushed through the scene.
• Imagine yourself as the camera as you walk with the actors through the
action of the shot
• A Zolly is a specialized
effect creating an emphasis
on the change created
between the background
and foreground elements.
Exercise 02
• Student spend time and find at least 3 shots of different kind of camera angle
from movies or video clips.
• Student then require to redraw their storyboard in these different camera
angle.
Exercise 03
• Student spend time and find at least 3 shots of different camera movements
from movies or video clips.
